Third POV

"Can we finally talk now?"

Tasuki's question seemed to hang in the air for a few moments, like (Y/N) needed a second to make sure she both heard that right, and was reading the vibes correctly. The black and blonde haired boy wasn't one to become so serious so quickly. Like, it was a complete 180 from how he had been acting earlier that day. He didn't look like he was here to simply catch up, and it didn't even seem like he wanted to talk about what happened to her eye.

No, for once, she didn't know what he had been referring to. Still, she supposed she could be a good host and allow her old friend into her home so that they didn't have to do this outside.

"Uh...yeah? Didn't know that we needed to talk about something," the dual color haired night owl nervously chuckled as she took her keys out and unlocked her front door, pushing it open and hanging her bag up on the coat rack with Tasuki following her inside.

"We've been needing to talk about something for two years now," he told her again, watching as she slipped her shoes off.

But as soon as she heard him say 'two years', the black and blonde haired boy watched her freeze. Her whole body froze up, and he knew she had a bit of a deer in the headlights type of look on her face. Of course, why did she even think that this wouldn't be brought up again? That was probably why he had even come to Honki City. (Y/N) grit her teeth together as she ran a hand through her hair, a huge sigh escaping from her nose.

An annoyed sigh. Tasuki could tell. And he could also tell what was going on in her mind too. Which meant he had to be a real stubborn hothead right about now.

"Don't play dumb, (Y/N). You know what I'm talking about," the boy stated more firmly this time as he closed her front door behind him.

Ooh, that tone just rubbed her nerves the wrong way. There went her mood. She went from looking forward to the group date thing to now beginning to grow pissed off as Tasuki confronted her about this topic that they so desperately needed to speak of. If he thought he was going to get her to say anything about what he was referring to, then her old friend was sorely mistaken.

"If this is what I think it is, there's nothing to talk about," the night owl stated in a firm, slightly deepened and warning tone of voice.

Because this was treading dangerous waters for anyone who dared bring this back up into the light where it didn't belong. Friend or foe, it didn't matter. The dual color haired girl was not about to talk about this. Not one bit. However, what she didn't account for was Tasuki's tenaciousness right when she began walking off in order to escape from this.

But she wasn't going to be able to walk away. Not this time.

"Oh, no you don't!" The black and blonde haired boy's holler broke the quiet of her home and damn near made (Y/N) jump out of her skin.
