Third POV

"We're gonna play a little game of mine called 'Hotshot'."

What kind of dangers would he be facing here? Because just as the two of them started on their way towards the table, he looked back towards Matakara and the rest of that group for some sort of help. The ginger haired boy looked like he was about to say something, but was stopped by Tasuki when he swung an arm around his shoulders and Zabu, who stood in front of him to halt him from going anywhere. Both boys only seemed to be giving Arajin looks of slight sympathy.

"Nice knowing ya, buddy," the black and blonde haired boy called out to Arajin.

"We'll be sure to throw a funeral," Zabu joined in, saluting him in the process.

For him, this would be pure entertainment, time for some karma to come and bite Arajin right in the ass. The look of pure fear on his face was like sweet candy to him.

"What do you mean?! What's Hotshot?!" Arajin screeched right in the night owl's ear, causing her to flinch while glaring at her childhood friend for a moment.

But she didn't release him. It only made her nails dig into his shoulder a little more, but he couldn't feel it because of all this adrenaline pumping through his system. He wanted answers and he wanted them right this second. And the others were willing to give them to him, but he wasn't going to like these answers very much.

"Her favorite game. And most of us know better than to play against the undefeated champion," Tasuki informed the black haired boy that was about to become her next victim while pointing his black nailed finger at her.

"Wussies~" (Y/N) sung in response since she didn't think that this game was all that bad.

For her, it wasn't bad. For anyone else that had played Hotshot just once, that was a very different story. Like, different in the sense of it was a one and done type of deal for them. And that included literally everyone. She wanted to call them 'wussies'? Then Zabu was going to tell her a little something something about this sadistic game she liked to play.

"Kay, Ken-san doesn't even want to play against you, that should say something!" The turquoise haired boy shouted at her to remind her about another way she had defeated the great Ken of Minato Kai.

"Huh?!" The ginger haired boy beside him let out in a very shocked manner with his head snapping right towards his golden eyed friend and his own eyes growing in size, nearly double the size of what they had been just a second ago.

She defeated Ken at this game?! To the point where he didn't even want to play against her?! That was crazy. But again, the dual color haired girl didn't really think it was all that bad as she gave Zabu her sassy look before flipping her long locks back over her shoulder.

"Whatever~" she sung once again, thinking both he and Tasuki were being nothing but a couple of drama queens because they loved to be that way.

Oh, Arajin didn't want to do this, he believed Zabu when he said Ken didn't want to play Hotshot with her because the dual color haired girl apparently just had these demons that gave her superpowers. Maybe he could still get out of this somehow. He just needed to find an opening. And it might just come from the one person he didn't expect to get help to come from.
