The beach again. It's breeze is cold but familiar. Small sand particles rub up against my stomach. I wear a black bikini. It's not even a color to other people. Just black. Curtis sits next to me, wolfing down his BLT I made for him. I laugh a bit. "If you eat that quickly you'll get hiccups!"

He shrugs. "At least I'm not favoring every bite and eating like a snail!" He chuckles.

"Hey!" I giggle and eat a little faster. I take a handful of chips and pop them into my mouth. Mmmmm. Doritos are delicious. Curtis is done with his sandwich so I offer him some chips. "You want some Doritos? I brought them to SHARE so don't eat the whole bag," I say laughing.

He chuckles. "Where are they?"

"Oh yeah. They're at you 5:00," I tell him. Curtis grabs the bag and eats a couple handfuls before setting them back down.

"Wanna go into the water?"

I nod and stand up. Curtis grabs my hand and I lead him into the shallow water. I yelp.

"Are you ok Susan?" He asks concerned.

"Yeah, the water is just so... Freezing!" I yelp again as we wade deeper and I splash around, trying to get used to the ocean. Curtis splashes me and I splash him back. Wave after wave washes over us, soaking Curtis and I. We laugh. "Why waves?!" I yell dramatically.

Curtis chuckles and starts walking out of the water. "I'm gonna make a sand castle."

"I'll help! The only problem, is that we don't have buckets or shovels..." I say following him.

Curtis shrugs. "I'll use my hands!" He wiggles his fingers and plops down in the sand. I sit next to him. He takes a handful of sand and sets in on flat ground, building it up. I help by towering it higher. I grab a few shells next to me and put them on the sides of the castle. After about 30 minutes or so we finish. It looks like a wreck, and Curtis can tell. He laughs and so do I. "We failed!"

"Most definitely!" I exclaim. "Let's pack up. It's getting pretty late."

"Ok. Will you guide me back to the picnic?"

"Oh course!" I grab his arm and bring us back to the picnic. We pile the things into the bag and fold up the towel. I walk back to my car with Curtis using his walker. Once in the car, Curtis starts to talk to me.

"You know how you asked me why I liked you?"

I quickly glanced at him the turned back to the road. "Yeah?"

"Well I know why I like you," he states, pausing for a moment, "you're flawless."
