Chapter 5- Normalcy

When Kevin opened his eyes the next morning, he felt immediate pain. His whole body ached, not just his back or waist or hips. He let out a soft groan. The next thing he noticed was the giant mess on the floor. Both his and Dex's clothing were scattered all over. 

Dex held onto Kevin the entire time they slept. He held him like a kid would hold a teddy bear. It would have been cute if Kevin weren't in so much pain from being pounded a few hours earlier. It's not like it was horrible sex, it just felt horrible the morning after. 

Dex slowly woke up as Kevin kept shifting uncomfortably. Kevin wasn't used to being held like this. Dex groaned and opened his eyes just to see Kevin facing away from him. "Good morning," He said in a low, raspy voice. 

Kevin looked over at him again, "Er, hi." He chuckled nervously, "Mind letting go of me?" 

Dex smiled, his eyes half open as he was still tired. He let go of Kevin and rolled over onto his other side.

"How long do you intend on staying here?" Kevin asked as he sat up in his bed and tried not to scream out in pain. 

"Just a bit longer," Dex said as his eyes closed and he tried going back to sleep. 

Kevin forced himself to get out of bed and stand. His legs wobbled like flimsy jelly and his whole being shook with them. "Ah, fuck," He swore under his breath. Hunched over, he staggered over to his dresser drawers and got out fresh clean clothes. He'd have to put away his old ones later. 

Dex struggled to stay awake. He rolled over again and watched Kevin get dressed. "Come on, Dex," Kevin said. He was now wearing a pull over hoodie and plain jeans. "Get dressed and go home."

Dex sighed as he sat up in the bed. "Alright, fine."

When Dex got back home, he took a shower and got dressed again before going about his day as usual. He didn't get a chance to tell Kevin how he felt about him and Aleks. Everyone knew how much Kevin likes Aleks. That itself was no secret, but Dex liking Aleks was a little new. And me having been physically attracted to Kevin was new, Dex thought as he finished eating breakfast. 

James got to the office a little late as usual. He and Aleks had started to act a little bit more like their usual selves, but it still wasn't that great when they got to the office together. 

"Oh James!" Came Spencer's voice as he burst through James' door and into his office. He was holding a camera.

James turned his chair to look at Spencer, "What now?"

"Kevin's pulling a prank on Jordan, and we need to get in on it," Spencer explained.

So they all walked into Jordan's office while Jordan was away. "Oh my God!" James yelled as he set foot into the office. "It's like what happened after Creature Talk 100!" 

"But a million times worse!" Kevin said. He wrapped everything in Jordan's office with layers and layers of plastic wrap and tape. 

James looked beyond shocked. "How the fuck did you do this so fast!?" 

"Joe and Dan are keeping Jordan away," Spencer explained as he worked the camera angles to shoot everything.  "He thinks they're filming something else, but..." He trailed off as Kevin laughed, which got him laughing too.

James helped Kevin do the door and it would take way longer to cut through this than it did after Creature Talk 100.

"What a work of art," Kevin said as he and James took next to each other and marveled at their masterpiece.
