Part 25

A heavy sigh was heard amongst the silence. The blonde who had finally got his surgeries done had woken up from his sleep after 2 whole days. He shaked his head trying to adjust with his headache. A white gauge was tied to his eyes and was tightly sealed with cotten pods. At first tae felt that the surgery was unsuccessful until he felt the gauge. He tried to lift his hands to feel the material but was unable to as a hard warm hand had held onto it tightly. Tae smiled knowing it was jungkook.

He shaked the ravanette trying to wake him up.
"Kookie wake up, see i am up"
Jungkook who had finally slept after 2 whole days sprinted his eyes open hearing the blonde's voice.
"Babyyyy" (it kinda reminded me of red white and royal blue (; watch it if you haven't)
"A-are you okay" Jungkook stuttered not knowing what to do at that exact moment.
"I'm fine, b-but g-grandma how is she? Please tell me she's fine" tae asked as tears started forming in his eyes.

"Your grandma is safe. I told you to not worry." A voice came from behind. Jungkook looked back to see Jin and Jimin bringing grandma on the wheelchair who was wearing her Black dark glasses.

"G-grandma" tae whispered.
"You know I have given you my eyes not to destroy it dear. The doctors have said no to tears so my dear i hate tears." Grandma joked trying to lighten the mood.
Tae held onto Jungkook indicating him to take him near his grandma. Jungkook did as said. Once tae felt the wheelchair on his knees, he bent down to his Grandma's level and held her hands.

"Are you okay grandma" Tae asked softly still having a hint of regret.
"Yes my dear i am totally fine." Grandma smiled and tried to find Tae's face. Once she did she smiled remembering how tae used to find their faces and caressed it she began to do the same."

How does it feel grandma?" tae held her hands which were caressing his face

" A bit weird and lonely, but don't worry i have imagined your grandpa 10 times and we have kissed in this darkness 50 times." Grandma said
And tae chuckled sadly.

"I never wanted anyone to feel what I felt all of these years grandma. But I promise that I will take care of you the same way you did to me." Tae said with determination.

"If you really want to not make me feel it then let me go tae. It's like my body is just wating for your acceptance." Grandma said.
Tae didn't say anything just started caressing his grandma's hair.

"How are you feeling tae " Jin asked tae. 
"It's great hyung. I cant wait to see all of you. Btw speaking of all where are the rest, Namjoon hyung, yoongi hyung and ofcourse my chimmy?"

"Well Joonie and Yoongi were here for the past two days but suddenly they had a meeting today, well not knowing that you're gonna wake up today they left, but don't worry they join us by evening. About Jimin" Jin said looking at Jimin who signed him not to tell about his presence.

"Well he didn't visit the hospital." Jin followed.
"You must be kidding, at least not me he would be hear for grandma. He can never leave his grandma i know you're lying" tae said, he was shocked to know that Jimin didn't visit the hospital even once. Regardless of their fight Jimin would never leave grandma.

"His grandma? as long as I remember your last words with him weren't like this. You've hurt him tae and maybe he is taking his time to heal." Jin felt bad for his brother but played along as he knew that tae needed a small lesson.

"I don't believe you hyung. I know my chimmy very well, he is here I know it" Tae was so adamant, he knew he has done something worse but he knew Jimin. He loved grandma so much that all his words would never affect him.

Jimin sighed "yes I am here, but only for grandma. Jin could not take care of you both simultaneously so I came back for her. So don't raise your expectations to much." He said in his cold voice.

"Ohh really as far as I know Jungkook was also here and his brother's too, so how come Jin Hyung had trouble?" Tae teased

"A-ab y-you, Are you trying to say i shouldn't have come?" Jimin stuttered.

"You bitch I meant to say that drop your act cause I know you inside out, with or without my eyes." Tae said.
Tae again held onto Jungkook's hand who took him near Jimin.
And as soon as he felt his bestfriend's presence, he jumped on him.

"I am soooo sorry, sorry sorry sorry sorry sooo soooo sorry. None of the words i uttered that day were true Jimin. You have all the rights to interfere in my business, and grandma can never less be yours. I was just angry that no one was trying to understand what I was feeling and that I blurted those words. Hit me all you want but please please forgive me. I sorry we are nothing without you. Those words meant nothing trust me chim. Please please forgive me." Tae said hugging him tightly

"Your hugging me too tightly. Let me breath." Jimin wriggled trying to loosen the grip.

" Not until you forgive me." Tae said strengthen his hold.

"Okay okay bitch I forgive you. Thank God that you have got such a forgiving person like me." Jimin sassed.

"Whoa I am pleased to see such a moment." Jungkook said.

"Well don't worry you'll have to see more to it." Jimin said.

"Good morning everyone, ohh tae you woke up. How are you feeling any discomfort?" Doctor asked

"Just a little headache but I am fine doc?"

"Ohh doctor Jung Hoseok , you can call me Jhope. I am Jungkook's close friend." He said with his smile

"Wait what?" Tae asked

"Yaa Jungkook was the one who gave me yours and Grandma's details." Jhope said looking at Jungkook who was signing him to not speak anything.

"Ohh is it. Well then your Jungkook and I need to have a very serious talk, right Jungkook?" Tae gave his scary smile.

"God why me" Jungkook cried in his mind.

"Well we will be opening your blindfold soon. But just few instructions. Firstly don't panic if you won't be able to see for some time, as your eyes will need to adjust for some days, until then no crying and no too much light reflection, no using of phone as well. Secondly, I'll be giving you glasses that you need to wear. Thirdly, you have to apply some eye drops in your eyes for about 2 months and during that span you will have to take some immunosuppressives to avoid any kind of body rejection. Don't worry I'll list it all out once more, just try to follow everything properly. Any questions?"

"Umm hobie hyung when will he able to see?" Jungkook asked.

"Well he will be able to see everything lightly right now but it will all be hazy and we can't risk giving him glasses as it will strain his eyes. Until his antibiotics will be over he will not be able to see clearly after 2 months bring him to me and I'll do some check ups. These black glasses and medicines are necessary so take care of it." Doctor said

"Okayy thankyou doctor." Tae said
And jhope smiled .

"Most welcome, now I'll take my leave."

"Thanks hobie hyung, join us for dinner some day. Bring noona and princess too." Jungkook said.

"Sure kook." Jhope patted his back and left.

"Tell me how close you guys are?" Tae asked sharply.
"Umm haahhaa baby why are you worrying so much. He is just my childhood friend. You take rest I'll take to you later." Jungkook said nervously.

"Jin Hyung, grandma and chimmy can you guys please leave I need to talk to Jungkook."

"God why me"
