"Elizabeth wake up.” Brian whispered. I felt him nudge me softly. His warm body embraced mine as if It were a glove. I snuggled closer to him placing my hand over his beating heart.

Without looking, I knew he was smiling. My body tingled with a small fire as my powers began to war with my vampire blood. Dammit, I knew this would happen; soon Charles would not be the only one after me. He will find me also.

“I'm sorry,  I guess the shock was a little too much.” I whispered .My voice was hoarse from fainting. I looked into Brian's kind eyes as he stroked my cheek. Elizabeth, what  the hell are you doing? Charles whispered in my head. Are you trying to start up the witches? I continued to stare at Brian ignoring Charles' rambling.

I knew what I was doing; it was worth it to stop his war with the wolves. I will not be ignored Elizabeth! He roared. I sat up with fright. That roar was not only heard in my head, it was outside the castle. I couldn't pin point the exact location, but I knew it wasn't far. “How did he know to get here?” Charity growled.

“I don't know and I really don't care. Grab the books.” Lance yelled. Charity grabbed the books. “Be careful!” I yelled. Before I could stand, Brian had me in his arms running through the halls. “I can smell vampires all over the place.” He growled.

“Vampires use to live here, Brian.” Lance retorted. Brian glared at him his eyes switching between his normal brown to black.“ Not that dead scent, smart ass.” “He is right.” Charity said running in front. Lance was behind him his back tensing for a fight.

I closed my eyes sensing the vampires. We were hugely out numbered. We stopped at the stairs looking out the windows. There they were standing ominously around the castle gates. “This is gonna be one hell of a fight.” Charity said.

I watched as he took his jacket off folding it carefully before placing it on the ground. Lance smiled ruefully, as always my son was a soldier. Brian's arms tensed around me. I pushed myself from his grasp, standing up slowly.

Brian grabbed my hand to steady me as we began down the stairs. “Alright everyone meet back at the Mansion.” Charity commanded. I nodded opening the door to the castle.
