All these male species were such a waste of time, it became a curious wonder to Alyssa Laceheart if major fraction of the opposite gender were really shameless bastards who couldn't control their meat stick or she was only unfortunate to encounter them on a daily basis.

"I dare you to say that again," She didn't dare hide the contempt and annoyance coating her words like a venom, those dual-colored eyes that further enhanced her looks narrowed.

The man across her raised both hands defensively, smiling sheepishly. "Hey chill, it's nothing weird but Alyssa no one fits the story's vision but you, we are making an anthology book revolving around goddesses and who better be in the cover but the walking deity herself! Cousin, you are ravishing!" To give a more proper imagery to this horrendous rubbish being who had the gall to bring up a ridiculous proposal, his name was Naldo, a third or fourth degree distant cousin, Alyssa wasn't sure because she never paid attention to his existence.

The photo shoot venue had longed been vacated, the Gothic Lolita session ended an hour ago and Alyssa already slipped out of the multiple layered garbs she wore aligned with the session's theme. She was ready to go home when Naldo had intercepted her boldly.

Naldo let his gaze traveled down on the white-haired woman's curves, contours and lastly, her doll-like face. "You are even better looking than Midori, anyone will be lucky to have you and imagine the increase in our sales once we have you as the book cover" Those eyes of his only darkened further with lust he didn't bother hiding.

"Are you hearing yourself right now, Naldo? Be grateful I am too tired already--"

"I can think of another ways we can both be tired but with pleasure" Naldo cut Alyssa off without hesitation, lips widening into a salacious grin as he slowly approached closer.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Alyssa only felt more upset that men she encountered were predictable and with a stern expression, she kicked Naldo between the legs then punched him on the stomach. These actions took Naldo by surprise that he didn't get a chance to react nor avoid it, with loud grunts he ended up on the floor.

Naldo curled on the floor, his arms around on his stomach. "Fuck!" Both stomach and his balls, the entirety of his damn reproductive organs hurt like a bitch. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

A disappointed heaving from Alyssa as she looked down at Naldo without hiding her rotten judgment of him—those onyx black and soft red eyes she possessed glimmer anger wanting to burst out more. "Nothing is ever wrong with me, but you? Aside from the obvious surface flaws? Maybe you should turn your eyeballs inside so you can do internal inspection. Don't come near me again, you freak" With a huff, she left.

Those living outside Marchen always regarded their country in a high pedestal, a mentality that the prominent families who continue keeping the publishing industry and its umbrella connections were highly-respected, erudite and upscale. Nothing less.

If only they knew how the waters still ran deep.

"Hello, you're Miss Alyssa Laceheart, right?" A hesitant question from a girl who slowly stepped forward soon as Alyssa left the building of the photoshoot venue.

The beautiful pale-haired model stopped in mid-steps, her unique eyes turned to the girl with curiosity. She raised a brow, "Yes that'll be me" It was not hard to spot her at all, what with the hair color and eyes she got. Only her, Alessio and Alessa were the odd ones out physically in the family. "Can I help you with something? I'm in a hurry"

"Hi! I'm umm...I a-attend the s-same university as Alessa..." The girl stuttered, tripping in her tongue. She was nothing strange to look at—average height, shoulder-length matte black hair and wood brown eyes. Her meekness and uncertainty was thick in the air. "I'm sorry I was trying to say that I'm one of your h-huge follower" She took out a spring notebook and a pen, "Is it okay, may I have a quick autograph?"
