(Alessa's POV)
I had a strange yet melancholic dream.
At first it was frightening, there were fairytale characters running amok the Heart of Marchen killing everyone, the chocolate porridge drowning everyone or burning them alive.
But it wasn't what took my attention the most...
I saw a strange hazy funky forest and my big sister Alyssa drinking a teacup brimming with this black-red liquid, it appeared tangy and disgusting. Why would she enjoy such flavor? She was also wearing this odd top hat. She and Alessio wore the same top hat but in different color, speaking of brother, he was drinking the same tea content.
Why were they so far from me?
Did you leave me?
Why was I not in there with you?
You two are my heart.
As I reached a hand out to the hazy scene, I felt pair of arms around my waist and the familiar voice of Black near my ears. "In exchange for your soul, they made a contract with the Abyss. Their souls are now as filthy and as dark as the souls they collect to fulfill the vengeance. Alessa, your siblings are gone, you will not understand now but in time, you will realize why they did what they did."

(Normal POV)
Gino glanced at the sleeping girl in the grand bed, her facial expression was shifting into a frown mildly. He got off the cushioned chair he was sitting on, walking out in the balcony that early morning and took out a rose-scented red stationary letter, the writings inside were beautifully cursive in white ink so the words were readable against the red backdrop.
His heart clenched painfully going over it for the second time, a letter containing the shared thoughts of Alyssa and Alessio before they proceeded with their task, the remembrance and proof of how much they love their younger sibling.
With a sigh, Gino closed the letter and returned it in the black envelope. He glanced below at the bushes of flowers blooming into vibrant yellow and pink colors. "The fairy tales are just about to come to life." Further ahead stood Black and White in their original human forms, each one holding their weapons—a giant garden scissor for White and scythe for Black.
Marchen was more than just the distributor of books and stories worldwide.
The magic possessing this land was old and timeless.
Marchen was the story itself.
