Isagi's POV:

"So, match number 9 ended with Team V's win against Team W," Iemon announced, as our team sat gathered around the monitor, strategizing for the last game. "After this match, our group standings look like this..."

Team V: Scored a total of 13 goals with 1 game remaining. Their current record stands at 3 wins, 0 ties, and 0 losses, giving them 9 points. Top player: Nagi Seishiro.

Team W: Scored a total of 12 goals, having completed all their games. Their record is 2 wins, 1 tie, and 1 loss, earning them 7 points. Top player: Ryouta Seishu.

Team Z: Scored a total of 7 goals with 1 game remaining. Their record so far is 1 win, 1 tie, and 1 loss, resulting in 4 points. Top player: Kuon Wataru.

Team Y: Scored a total of 5 goals and has finished all their games. Their final record is 1 win, 0 ties, and 3 losses, leaving them with 3 points. Top player: Niko Ikki.

"Team Z is in third place," Iemon said, trying to sound all serious. "We'll play this stadium's last game against Team V. The least we need to do is win so we can take second place."

I was nodding along, trying to focus, but then I noticed Louis. His head was drooping lower and lower, like gravity had it out for him. I nudged him. He startled awake for half a second, blinked at me like a confused owl, and then just... zonked out again.

Before I could react, there was a loud thud. Everyone turned to see Louis sprawled out on the floor. And here's the thing—he didn't even wake up. Just mumbled something like, "gravity being too aggressive." and kept sleeping.

"Seriously?" Kunigami muttered, rubbing his temples. "Does he have to do it every meeting?"

"Gravity's ruthless, man," Bachira said, grinning like it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen.

"Guess I'd better get him to the sleeping room," I said, trying not to laugh as I grabbed him under the arms and hauled him up. His head lolled to the side, his hair messy over his face.

"What does he even do all night?" Kira asked, shaking his head but grinning.

Kunigami sighed like this wasn't the first time. "He sleeps. He goes to bed earlier than anyone and still wakes up later than everyone."

I just grinned at their comments, adjusted Louis's arm, and made my way out of the room.

When we finished the meeting and got back to the room later, things went from productive to... whatever the opposite of that is. Bachira, in his infinite wisdom, widened his eyes, stuck out his tongue, and yelled, "GUESS WHAT I'M SAYING!"
