I never thought that Simon's words could shock me so much.
There was no way this was real, it had to be a joke.

Me, date Alex Turner?
This was all too coincidental.

Not to mention, it made me extremely uncomfortable.

I freeze completely, noticing the guys all staring at me, worried.

"Elizabeth?" Simon asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Are you still with us?" He chuckles.

"I'm going to have to fake date Alex Turner?" I ask, feeling my heart beat out of my chest, feeling as though I was about to vomit.

"Why, what's wrong with him?" Simon asks, looking at the other boys.
"Is he not attractive enough?" He jokes, making no one laugh.

What isn't wrong with him!?
He's obnoxious.
He's rude.
He's violent!
And he is so much older than me!

Besides, I like Harry.
I only want Harry.

"No, it's not that-" I mumble, knowing I obviously couldn't tell the truth about him.

"Then what is it?" Simon asks, his arms folded, already getting impatient with me.

"Simon, don't you think he's a little.. old for me?" I ask, knowing it wouldn't be real, but still very uncomfortable with the fact that I'd have to go out with him.

"Yeah Simon, like a whole decade." Niall adds, as the guys nod in defence.

"Not a whole decade, per se." Simon says, shrugging.
"He's only nine years older."

"So, a decade." Liam says, standing by what Niall said.
"Lizzy's only nineteen, she's just a kid. Meanwhile, he's nearly thirty."

"Almost a decade, if you will." Simon argues.
"I know she's still a kid, but it's not that big of a deal, it's fake."

"But Simon, if she doesn't feel comfortable don't you think there's an alternative solution to all this?" Zayn adds.

"You children are so hard to please!" Simon yells frustrated, as I felt my heart sink to the bottom of my body and tears prickling in my eyes.
"Elizabeth is going to date Alex Turner and that's final!"

"I thought I was going to fake date him." I mumble, starting to feel more and more afraid of this outcome.

"Well you're gonna have to make it look real!" He yells, making me jump, as Louis holds my shoulders gently.

"Simon come on, at least get her someone else to date!" Louis yells back, as all of the boys nod, defending me.

Simon is silent.
"Oh." He says raising his eyebrows, a disgusted look on his face.
"I see what this is."
"You're all turning against me now."

"Simon, I can assure you we're not-" I say, but he cuts me off.

"I don't want to hear another word out of you!" He scolds me, making me purse my lips, and a single tear streaming down my cheek.
"And after everything I've done for you all..."

"Simon-" Louis is about to argue again, but I stop him.

"Louis, don't." I whisper to him, giving him a pleading look to not argue with Simon any more.

There was no point in arguing any longer.
He wasn't going to change his mind.

There's an awkward silence in the room now and Simon is giving us all dirty looks.
He shakes his head, the room still so silent you could hear a pin drop.

"Elizabeth is going to fake date Alex Turner, and that's final." Simon says.

"For how long?" Zayn asks, impatiently.

"For however long it takes to convince the media that she and Harry aren't dating." Simon says, his arms folded.
"Or however long I want them to."

I scoff, clutching my chest, my throat feeling like it was closing up.

"And I suggest you lose the crying act Elizabeth, he'll be here to pick you up for breakfast in about an hour." He says and we all look at him in shock.

Breakfast with him in an hour!?
On such short notice!?

"What are you, out of your-" Louis is about to shout, but I block his mouth and give him a look.

"I'll be ready by then." I say, my voice starting to break, but not wanting to anger Simon any more.

Simon purses his lips.
"Well, I'm glad we're all in agreement then."
"You boys are free to do whatever you want now." He says and leaves.

The second Simon walks away, I break into tears.
I hide my face in my hands as the boys all huddle around me in a hug.

"Thanks for trying guys." I sob, knowing they did the best they could to help.

"We're so sorry, Lizzy." Liam says, consoling me, along with the rest of the guys.

I shake my head.
"It's not your fault." I say, sniffling.
"Where's Harry? I want Harry."

"I think he's still in his room." Niall says, as I get up and walk towards Harry's room.

Just as I'm about to knock on his door, it opens.
He looks at me dumbstruck, probably in shock that my face is tomato red, my cheeks stained with the remnants of my mascara because of my tears.

He was now fully dressed, I assumed all that time we were speaking with Simon, he was getting ready.

"Lizzy?" He asks, still baffled and confused that I'm in tears.
"What happened?" He asks, embracing me in his arms.

I hold onto his strong arms for comfort as he rests his head on mine.

"You're shaking, what's going on?" He asked, getting more worried by the second.
"You told me you didn't have a nightmare this morning."

I shake my head and swallow a lump in my throat.
I couldn't even get the words out, I was still in shock and disgusted with what I had to do.

"It wasn't a nightmare." I say, crying.
"It was my nightmare come to life."

"Lizzy, I don't know what that means if you don't tell me." He says, his voice breaking, sounding more and more worried.
"I'm gonna need you to take a few deep breaths. What's going on?"

Gasping for air, I finally catch my breath and pull away from him, so that way I can look him in the eyes when I say this.

"I have to fake date Alex Turner."
