Chapter 7 - saving olive

As soon as Ben informed Michaela about the abduction, she and Zeke would rush back, their minds racing with fear and determination. Michaela would likely start piecing together clues, trying to remember any threats or unusual behavior from her past cases. The urgency of the situation would push her to use all her skills and connections within the police force to track down the abductor.

Charlotte, feeling the weight of the situation, is overwhelmed with worry for Olive and guilt for not being able to protect her. Meanwhile, Jared  gets upset at her, feeling that her job has once again put her family in danger. He might confront Michaela, saying"This is exactly why I was worried about your job affecting our lives! Now look what's happened to Olive because of it!" His frustration would stem from both his concern for Olive and his unresolved feelings for Michaela

In addition to Jared's reaction, Grace also blames Michaela, yelling at her and saying that it's her fault Olive got abducted. This is too much for Michaela to handle,

In and out, slowly," he whispered, guiding her to a quieter corner. He held her hand firmly, his calm presence a stark contrast to the chaos around them. "You're not alone. We'll get through this together," he reassured her, his soothing words helping her regain control. With Zeke's support, Michaela took deep breaths, focusing on his voice and touch. Gradually, the fog lifted, and she felt steadier until they started yelling at her again

As Ben and Grace's accusations started again and grew louder, Zeke's patience wore thin. "Enough!" he shouted, stepping between them and Michaela. "This isn't helping anyone, least of all Olive. Blaming Michaela won't bring her back. We need to focus on finding her, not tearing each other apart." His anger was evident, but it was driven by his fierce need to protect Michaela. The room fell silent, the gravity of Zeke's words sinking in. Michaela, still reeling from her panic attack, felt a surge of gratitude for Zeke's support. With tensions temporarily diffused, they all knew they had to pull together to rescue Olive.
