Chapter 1: No chance for romance

(Y/n) pov's

It was a normal day sitting next to your boyfriend in class giggling at his cheesy jokes, when the teacher said that there will be two new students coming in tomorrow. Your not really excited to meet the new students because they're always gone by the end of the month, mostly because of all the famous/infamous (mainly hunters) people's kids. After all this was a private school only the best come here. And as for me, I am the daughter of the famous Ging Freecs one of the best hunters there is! Sometimes I wonder If ill ever meet him...maybe just maybe Gon can take me with him to find dad, i mean if he ever comes back, he's been gone for so long I lost count on how many days a while ago. In the mean while I'm living with my great aunt Sophina, she's really nice and all but she's a HUGE neat freak, I mean I'm getting a glass of milk right? when suddenly I drop one. Just one drop of milk on the counter, then she there cleaning it and telling me to be more careful and stuff like that, so ya she's a bit weird I mean seriously one single drop of milk!

'Sigh'"I'm soooo tired, Joshua I want to go home" I whined tilting my head to spot my boyfriend Joshua.

"I don't know what to tell you (y/n), if you go home now you can never get that strawberry POCKY" the confident boy beside me said whith a grin on is face. I look at him wide eyed and start acting all energetic and saying that I was just kidding (as you can see you really love starwberry POCKY). This was last period and today Joshua is walking me home, I watched the clock with a bored expression while the teacher rambled on about somthing involved the new kids and something about showing them around the school.

"(Y/n)" I look to where the voice was, the teacher was calling me.

"yes" I responded with a silly face and I heard my brown haired boyfriend chuckle at the way I acted. The teacher though, seemed irritated.

"How about you show the kids around juste because you weren't listening"

I sighed out an okay.One second later the bell rings and I scramble out the door as quickly as I could, not wanting to wait for my boyfriend who was supposed to walk me home. After 5 minutes of waiting outside, Joshua finally comes out and spots me sitting on a bench near the window of the class we were recently in. He walks up to me with a sad smile, and I didn't know what was bothering him. He gently grabbed my hand and I looked down confused by his actions.

"(Y/n)...." He trails off leaving me even more confused. "I have somthing to tell you but your probably not going to like it" Joshua stated as he looked me directly in the eyes.

"What is it, you can tell me anything Joshy" I smiled at the nickname I gave my boyfriend.

"We'll....." He trailed off again, he sighed "I'm cheating on you" he said plainly, I don't even think he's sorry. "I'm also breaking up with you sooo ya, see ya I guess..." He got up and walked away, yet you didn't feel that bad...

3rd persons' P.O.V.

At that moment y/n just wanted to go home and think, but when she watched him walk over to this other girl...her mouth dropped to the floor. His new girlfriend was her bestie. She soon realized she was staring and abruptly stood up. It was getting late, Joshua and your ex bestie have retreated down the sidewalk, and most people were gone home already. She was emotionless, not even caring if she bumped into someone while walking down the opposite path as the two traitors. She wish she had somebody to hug, but she didn't and it was starting to rain. Deciding she needed to go faster, for she didn't want to get soaked, she started to run down her street.

After a while of running, and when she thought she was completely alone. The rain gets harder, but she halts and just stands in the rain. Honestly she really likes the rain, it was calm and sometimes it was fun to just let loose and get soaked. Y/n heard a rustle in a bush, startled she looked over and saw Joshua emerge from the small ever green.

"Joshua what are you doing here shouldn't you be with someone else" she said bitterly then started to walk away. Suddenly Joshua grabs her wrist and pulls her back into his chest and kissed her. She was enraged, and in no future would she ever forgive him. She had the urge to just slap him. He pulled away and looked at her, she was angry and he just kept a firm grip on her while she was struggling to escape his grasp. He suddenly came closer and whispered in her ear. She felt like She would explode, 'he said he still loved her.' That's impossible, he said he wanted to brake up with her, but now he suddenly wants things to go back the way they were?!

She slapped him, and pretty hard at that, with the free hand she managed to wiggle from his grasp.

He was shocked "I thought you wanted me back? I thought you could forgive me?" He stated shocked.

"We'll you thought wrong, you just lost my trust and left with some other girl, how do you think that made me feel? Huh?!" (Y/n) jerked her small hand from out of Joshua's larger ones and walked away leaving him, and her chances for romance behind as she just started to think how it could've went back to the way it used to be, but she just kept walking in the pelting cold rain....
