Chapter 12: panda time!

(Y/n)'s pov

'Math, gym, baking, arts, music..what should I draw that relates to theses subjects..? I know! I'll draw-' (y/n) was cut off from her thoughts by the sound of feet hitting the stairs as someone walked down and a yell coming from our local mailman outside. I quickly raced to the door to get the mail at the same time Killua was coming down stairs. I go out the door and I greeted the mailman nown as bill as he kindly passes me the morning papers along with a letter, it said it was from some guy named...Leorio..? 'Oh yeah! I remember him!' I thought as I slowly walked back inside the welcoming house. Killua was at the table and so was Gon, both of them calmly eating some cerial. I walked over to Gon and told him about the letter.

"Hey bro, I think you got a letter from that Leorio guy." I said as I tossed the letter on the table.

"Leorio? Wonder what he wants..." Gon questioned, mostly to himself.

"Hate to burst your bubble but school starts in 20 minutes bro. You better hurry up, and we still have to walk." I warned him before grabbing my backpack and heading towards the door.

"H-hey! Wait up (y/n)!" Gon said as he starts multitasking with eating, packing his school bag and putting his jacket on. I giggled as I watched him struggle to keep the food in his mouth as he put his jacket on. Killua on the other hand was already standing at the door with a chocolate bar hanging from his mouths as he ties his shoes. I strut over to him and kneel down till were eye level and he looks at me.

"What?" He asked voice muffled by the chocolate awaiting a answer. I didn't respond, instead I snatched his chocolate bar and quietly nibbled on it. He was done tying his laces so he slowly got up and looked at me, I looked back at him and we didn't blink for about 5 minutes. We lost track of time but this was for the chocolate! He blinked after aunt Sophina yelled bloody murder because someone forgot to take their Landry out of the bathroom. There for I won and get to keep the chocolate.

"Yeah! Take that sucker!" I cheered and Killau did not look mad but amused by my actions. He was also lightly chuckling at my actions.

"Ummm...guys...? We kinda only have... 12 minutes left to get to class..." Gon half panicked as he looked at both of us. I opened the door and ran almost bumping into Bill on my way, Gon and Killua looked at each other then smirked and chased after me. Since the both of them were gone trianing for a while they have way more agility than myself, so they passed me at a inhuman speed which made me fall over. I laughed and got back up trying to run but fall back down. I looked at my feet and touched my ankle, it hurt a lot and i couldn't move it. Suddenly I feel a gust of wind hit my face and a shadow had casted over me, I look up to see...Gon! What a life saver!

"Oh my god! (Y/n) are you ok?! Here get on my back." He panicked as he helped me on his back and he started jogging to school again. Soon enough we meet with Killua again and he asked me what happened.

"There's no time to explain we have 2 minutes to get to classe!" I warned once again. They both started to jog again but slower since we were in school.

"Hey bro?"

"Yeah?" He replied.

"What classes do you have today?"

"Math, gym, baking, arts and music and Killua has social studies, gym, baking, math and science. I always have the same classes as you, but Killua only has a few of the same classes." By now Killua was gone down a different hall to his own locker, mine and Gon's were only a couple away. We made to our lockers and got our stuff and we decided we'll use my ankle as an excuse as to why we were late for classe. Gon slowly cracked the door opened being carful not to drop me and walked inside. Our teacher instantly asked why we were late and we answered her.

"Well you see miss we were having a running contest to school and (y/n) fell and sprain her ankle so she couldn't walk." Gon replied for me.

"I see...carry on then, do the questiones 1-15 on page 205 and 206." The teacher said after we sat at our seets Gon helping me with that. I gave him a thankful smile as he sat down beside me in the back of the classe. For the rest of the classes I drew the drawing I decide to draw today and it carried on throughout the day exactly like that. In gym I sat out because of my ankle so I drew, for baking I made a cake shaped like a dog and it was a chocolate brown lab! Mmm..chocolate.. After baking it was arts, for arts I drew, obviously. And finally music I played some piano but nothing really fun happened. As usual my day was pretty normal until Gon and Killua told me to go wait at Beny's pizza for them. I did as I was told and made my way to Beny's pizza. In the meanwhile....

Gon's pov

I was currently at the zoo as Killau was at the market getting a box with holes in it, I was looking for (y/n)'s favourite animal, a panda (if you don't like pandas just pretend it's a different animal). I finally spotted one and showed the zoo keeper my hunters license. He amediatly told me I could have one and I took off to find Killua with that box. He wasn't too far and he was holding a (f/c) box with holes around so the panda can breath when it's in there. We were going as fast as we could so we wouldn't make you wait long.

(Y/n)'s pov

I entered the pizza place and looked around, I noticed a familiar brown headed boy seated at the back of the shop. I walked over to a random table and set my stuff down afterwards I walked over to Kyle sitting the back alone. I arrived and I asked why he was alone.

"Because I'm re-reading a script I have for a movie, that reminds me, you should take my phone number in case you want to get in touch with." He answered my question and gave me his phone number on a piece of paper before returning to his reading.

"Thanks Kyle, see you around!" I said cheerfully and then walked back to my table. Then at that moment Gon and Killus walked in with Killua holding a medium box in his hands. They make their way to my table and they put the box on the table and grin your way. You look at them questionably and they just nod their heads as to say open it. I slowly took off the cover to the box and what i saw was awesome!! In the box was a panda wearing a mini top hat and it was the cutest thing ever! I looked at them again expectantly, looking for a answer they just said;

"Happy birthday (y/n)!!" They shouted together, everyone looks this way and I just stand there dumbfounded that I forgot my own birthday! I hugged them unexpectedly and stayed there for a while.

"I only wish kurapika and Neon were here too.." I said with a content sigh

"Who said we weren't?"

(A/n) I'm ending it here because it's getting too long, I'm very sorry for not posting or two months!!😭😭😭 I was just so busy with the holidays that when it was over I completely forgot about he story😅 Anyway sorry again and I'll try to post a lot sooner. Thanks for reading bye bye!!
