Chapter 16: A random day

Y/n p.o.v.

Killua and I were wandering through town when we came across a vintage candy shop. Of course when I looked to Killua he was pretty much bouncing and there was drool coming from the corner of his mouth. I giggle and he pulls me inside the yummy shop. I'm really hoping he brought his own money, because he gathered SO MUCH stuff that I doubt I could even have close to enough to pay for it.

He wobbled over to the cash and asked me if I wanted anything, I picked out a package of Fun Dip and put it on top of the gigantic pile of candy, I had to go on my tiptoes to reach. Killua payed for it all and then we traveled out of the little shop and down the sidewalk. The cashier had to use five bags for all the candy he bought. I was carrying two and he was carrying three, we walked around the mall for a while and when he was admiring something through the glass windows of the shop I remembered what he told me earlier about being busy. And I was also wondering who Alluka was...no one ever really told me, all I know is that she is related to Killua.

"Y/n! Come look at this!" Killua was really excited for some reason and I don't know why, all we're doing is window shopping. I happily skip over to where he's standing and stop beside him. He's looking at this new skateboard with purple arrows and a white background, as for me I spotted a super cute kitten statue. It was all white with pretty blue eyes, I wanted to get something for Ming(her pet panda) with the remainder of my money so I thought that I could buy it another day. My eyes shined with a saddened expression but I soon perked up and looked at Killua who was still staring at the skateboard.

"Come let's go to the next store!" I instantly happied myself up and started on to the next store. Killua watched me walk ahead and he hesitantly followed.

Killua's p.o.v.

I noticed that y/n really wanted that white kitten statue and I really wanted to get it for her. So as we kept walking, we finally went into a store and when she was looking for something, probably for Ming since she said something about it earlier, I went really fast back to that shop with the skateboard and asked the lady how much the statue was.

Finally I bought it and arrived back at the store y/n was at before she noticed. She bought a little bed for Ming that has a suchi pattern on it. And as for me, I'm going to give y/n my present once we get home, I want it to be a surprise!

Neon's p.o.v.

As me and my friends were walking I noticed a certain albino and h/c walking through the mall with five bags of candy. I sweat drop at the amount of candy they got and gained the attention of friends to witness this scene as well. They sweat drop too and we instinctively follow them around the rest of the day.

They were finally taking the route back to their home and since we're they're good buddies we also followed them home. Not creepy at all. Anyways, they stopped at the entryway and Killua put down his bags of candy, which I still think is way too much candy. As Killua put down the bags he got down on one knee and pulled out a small red velvet box. 'W-was he go-going to p-propose?!?! Killua! This is not the time for that!! But still goals;)'I internally screamed at him while watching the scene with shock.

Killua's P.O.V.

Finally we're home! I guess I should give y/n the statue now, I hope she likes it...

"Wait a second." I say getting in one knee to put the candy bags down, I reach into one of the bags to grab the red velvet box that they put the statue in. Y/n is just casually standing in front of me, wondering what I'm doing.

I whip out the box and hold it up to her, she's confused, her eyebrows are scrunched up and her eyes are searching for answers. I press a button on the side of the box and the top flings open, y/n covers her mouth and drops her bags. Inside the box lies a fluffy white kitten with blue eyes, but not the same I got at the store....it's alive...?

"OMG! Killua!! That looks exactly like the one I saw at the store today!" She squeals with joy.

"So..will you accept my gift?" I asked hoping she would take it, even though it's not what I bought she still likes it.

"I do! I accept!!" She squeals again and tackles me in a hug, I almost dropped the kitten while she did so. I hear gasps and leaves crunching coming from a nearby hedge. I narrow my eyes at the direction but realize it's only my friends, I would notice my friends' anti-gravity hair anywhere. Gon's hair is poking right out the top of the hedge!

Y/n P.O.V.

I can't believe he did that!>//0//<

I only liked the kitty because it reminded me of Killua...and I really like Killua, so of course I'm going to love this! Why did he even have to ask?! I hesitantly release him from the hug but his sparkling blue eyes capture mine in a sweet gaze. It felt like forever just staring at each other, I didn't even notice how close we have gotten. So close that our lips were brushing against one another, I could feel his hands snake around my waist and pull me closer to him. It was at that moment I realized the position we were in as well. I was pretty much straddling him because he fell over when I hugged him, my hands were on his chest slightly gripping his shirt and my skirt/dress slightly went up after the I tackled him. I blushed a thousand shades of red and if it was even possible, our faces got even closer without kissing. Our eyes were half lidded and we're indecisive about who should close the gap. Then suddenly we hear a strange comment come from the hedge.

"Danmit! Just kiss already!!" We knew that voice all too well, Leorio. Why was he watching us in such a scene? No one knows. Just as Killua was about to kiss me, I was pulled back by none other than....
