"Idiots..."

You couldn't even cry over it, no tears able to fall from your stupid wooden eyes. The anguish burned inside you with no other place to go, feeling a hurt so deep that only got worse because you couldn't let it out. While you had managed to escape contractual obligation, you hadn't managed to escape the damned Island of Dressrosa.

Kid was only there to learn some intel on account of a deal; maybe steal some extra shit on the side because he could. Unfortunately he fucked around in places he shouldn't have, and half the damn crew ended up in a tight situation. They all escaped... except for you. They forgot you. All that stolen treasure had seemingly taken your place, left behind on a doomed island, the ever growing threat of Doflamingo and his family looming over the place. Here you were, stuck in the middle of all this bullshit you were never supposed to be part of, turned to a toy by Sugar and all but forgotten by those you love.

"Fucking morons. I still kinda look like myself like this. How did they not even notice. Fuck." You grieved, unable to weep as you sat at the edge of a hidden dock, watching the Victoria Punk sail away.

What was once supposed to be a quick little stop was now a total mess for you, your world falling apart entirely. If only you weren't caught in the crossfire of a bullshit attack that could've been avoided if you never went there at all. You never thought you'd see the ones you love forget you right before your eyes in such a way.

"... I miss you already... My loves..."

After a few hours at sea, the unsettling weight that something was amiss finally grew on the crew, presenting the most in Kid and Killer. The two of them had slowed down, acting confused, always pausing to think as if they forgot something. Initially, this was ignored, but after a day or two had passed but the feeling didn't, they started to think something was truly wrong. Both of them had been noticing things that were off or unexplained, and they had to talk about it now.

"Hey Kid, why did we go to Dressrosa again?" Killer asked one night while he looked over a map.

"Hmm? Well, to steal that map you're holding there, and to confirm some intel that we received." Kid answered. "Why do you ask? We left there a while ago."

"I dunno... Something just feels... wrong, I guess." Killer mumbled, setting the map down.

"Wrong how?"

"Wrong as in... it feels like a piece of me is missing. Don't you feel it too?" Killer repeated, hoping he wasn't alone with the feeling.

"... I do." Kid finally sighed. "I've just been tryna ignore it. Feels like I forgot something important... Maybe even someone."

"Right. I don't think we're that dense to forget a whole person but... It almost feels like it." Killer mumbled, starting to ramble. "I mean, the things we've seen the past few days-"

"The clothes. The ones in the middle drawer of my dresser, mixed in among your shirts and mine..."

"Yeah, those. They don't look like anything the others would wear. Do we toss em? Or keep em; just in case we remember what they were for, or who's they were?" Killer asked, coming over to stand next to Kid.

"Keep em. Just in case." Kid nodded. "Could be something left there by accident too."

"Yeah, but an accident? Really? I mean- ...Hold on."

Killer paused mid sentence, fixated on Kid's prosthetic arm. A spot in the elbow joint stuck out with the colour pink, and when he picked at it, he peeled a small heart sticker off the metal. Pinched between his fingers, Killer looked from the sticker to Kid who looked just as confused.
