The bass pulsed through the club, and the lights flashed in a dizzying array of colors as Bible laughed, drink in hand, surrounded by friends. Jeff sat at a nearby table, keeping a close eye on him, his gaze sharp as he watched Bible laughing and chatting, the smile that Jeff loved so much lighting up his whole face.

Bible was having the time of his life, mingling easily with a few friends he hadn’t seen in a while. Every so often, he’d glance back at Jeff, giving him a reassuring smile, but Jeff’s expression remained fixed. He couldn’t help the way his jaw tightened whenever someone leaned a little too close to Bible or made him laugh a little too hard.

Finally, one of Bible’s friends offered him another drink, and Bible accepted with a laugh, throwing back his head in that carefree way that always caught Jeff’s heart off guard. But seeing Bible look so open, so comfortable with everyone else stirred something hot and possessive within Jeff. He clenched his glass, fighting to keep his cool.

Bible noticed the sharp look in Jeff’s eyes and immediately caught on. With a slight, knowing smirk, he excused himself from his friends and made his way over to Jeff, swaying a bit to the beat of the music. He leaned against the table, crossing his arms and giving Jeff a teasing look.

“Enjoying the view?” Bible asked, his voice warm and slightly challenging.

Jeff’s eyes narrowed, his gaze intense. “Maybe a little too much,” he replied. “You seem to be having a lot of fun… with everyone but me.”

Bible laughed, clearly amused. He reached out, trailing a finger along Jeff’s arm. “Are you jealous, Jeff?”

Jeff didn’t answer right away, but his hand slipped around Bible’s waist, pulling him close. “Maybe I am,” he muttered, his voice low, “especially when you’re out there laughing and smiling like that.”

Bible leaned closer, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “You know I only have eyes for you, right?” he whispered, brushing his lips against Jeff’s ear.

Jeff’s grip tightened, his possessiveness flaring up. “Maybe I should make sure everyone else knows that, too.”

Without warning, Jeff leaned in, pressing his lips firmly against Bible’s neck, leaving a lingering, possessive kiss just below his jaw. Bible’s breath hitched as he felt Jeff’s lips marking him. When Jeff pulled back, a faint red mark had appeared on Bible’s skin, unmistakable in the dim club lighting.

“Jeff!” Bible protested, though he was grinning. “People will see.”

“Good,” Jeff said, a satisfied smirk on his face. “I want them to see.”

Bible laughed, his eyes softening. “Alright, alright. Let’s go dance, Mr. Jealous.”

Jeff allowed Bible to lead him onto the dance floor, his arm wrapped possessively around Bible’s waist. As they moved to the music together, Jeff felt his jealousy fade, replaced by a deep sense of pride and love. He knew Bible was his, and that was all that mattered.

The music shifted to a slower beat, and the energy in the club softened as couples around them gravitated toward each other. Bible looked up at Jeff, his heart racing as they stood close, the flashing lights casting a soft glow across their faces. Jeff’s hands, still wrapped around Bible’s waist, began to move slowly, sliding up the back of Bible’s shirt and pressing against his warm skin.

Bible shivered as Jeff’s fingertips caressed his lower back, tracing gentle, possessive circles. The touch was tender but deliberate, a reminder of Jeff’s presence, his strength, and his quiet protectiveness. Bible leaned into him, feeling the warmth of Jeff’s hands as they slipped further beneath his shirt, moving across his sides and settling on his belly.
