ANNA'S P.O.V
"So, are you going to tell me why you stopped talking to me?" I said to Nash as we entered the lift.
"I just think that it's something that should be spoken about over a coffee, there's just too much to say." He said frowning at me, "Just please come to my gig and I will tell you everything. I promise." Nash pleaded.
I sighed. Am I going to be set up for disappointment? Is it better not know? No, I have to know. " Okay, but you have to tell me everything." I said, looking into his big blue hopeful eyes.
"Thank you, I promise I won't let you down." The elevator dinged and we exited, walking down to the entrance. I opened the door and looked up at him, "Do you hate me for leaving?" Nash asked, his eyes holding his familiar curiosity.
"At first I was confused, then upset, then I kinda got over it, I mean you know I don't dwell on things." I said, walking out into the warm night. Cars whizzed past us and people hurried some jabbdered into their phones, others laughing with friends, "But I don't hate you, but I needed you once, but you didn't answer." I whispered to the pavement covered in cigarette butts and squashed chewing gum.
"I'm sorry, I really am. But hopefully you will understand why I left, why I had to." Nash said, his eyes sad.
"Okay," I said to him, "well come here you big dummy." I stretched out my arms to hug the tall guy.
"So I'll see ya later?" Nash said pulling away and taking a step back, pointing to a familiar vehicle behind him.
"Yeah, tomorrow," I smiled as I watched him hop into a yellow car. I waved as he pulled out into a sea of cars, waving back to me and beeping his horn.
I laughed and turned and walked up to the entrance door and unlocked the front door and ran to the elevator. Maybe we could be friends again, maybe it can be like before. I thought this to my self as I walked to my apartment and unlocked my door, I looked at the boxes and picked them up and carried them down to the garage and put the crashed boxes in the yellow otto bins.
I caught the lift up to my floor and went into my house and closed the door. My stomach rumbling. I walked over to the kitchen and rummage through the cupboards, hmm pasta? Yeah pasta. I pulled out a pot and filled it with water and placed it on the stove and turned the element on, I cracked salt into the pot. Waiting for the water to boil I moved to my stereo and docked my phone, then pressed play. Sleeping with Sirens came on and I started singing to the song, tying my long wavy purple hair up.
The water had finally boiled and so I placed the long pasta into the pot.
"They say that love is forever,
Your forever is all that I need,
Will you staaaaaay forever with me?" I say along to the song as I pulled a bowl out of a cupboard. It took me a few minutes to notice that a knock sounded at my door and I looked at it confused.
"Who is it?" I called as I approached the door. I wasn't expecting anyone.
"It's me." A male voice said nervously.
"I don't know any Me's." I whisper-yelled to the door. I looked through the peeping hole and saw a familiar face.
"Come on Dianne... I brought some pizza." The guy said through the door.
"Okay, one sec." I said and ran to my stove which was bubbling over. I turned down the temperature and then walked to the front door and pulled it open to see a wild Calum, "Come in." I smiled and gestured into my little messy house.
"Ah, thanks. So how are you liking your house?" Calum said as he followed me into the kitchen where my pasta was quietly cooking.
I walked over to my stereo and turned the music down a bit, "It's great. There's no wait for the toilet. I don't have to worry about people eating all my food." I smiled as he handed me piece of cheese pizza. I bit into the cold piece as Calum tapped his fingers along to the song.
