Escaping?

Chapter 14:
-Joes POV-

As we kissed something inside me light up, like we were meant to be together.

After a while, she started to laugh and I couldn't help but to laugh as well.

She looked at me in the eyes.

"You are an amazing person." She smiled.

I laughed a little, "thank you for making me not feel awkward around a girl. It never happens."

"Haha, it's ok." She was still smiling.

God that smile was extremely gorgeous.

I took a glance over at my friends, and Alyssa, they were all starting at us.

I felt my face turning red. It burned.

Maggie looked at me, she knew I felt embarrassed.

"Hey it's ok. Don't be embarrassed." She whispered.

"It just weird because they just seen me like this and I feel like I'm doing something wrong."

"Don't feel like you did because you didn't." She smiled at me once more. "It's ok."

I couldn't but help smile back at her.

-Ricks POV-

We couldn't but to help stare at this amazement.

They were kissing!

"I can't believe this." Mark said.

I looked over at him.

"They are kissing. And she didn't pull away."

"Which is unusual for Joe to do this." Andy said.

"Why would you say that it's unusual?" Alyssa said leaning forward.

"Well Joe just isn't that type of guy to talk to many girls or even kiss one." I said.

"You guy shouldn't doubt your friend. You know everyone has secrets that nobody tells, even to their best friends." Alyssa said leaning back against the wall.

She does have a point. A lot of people do have secrets that they never tell anyone to, and Joe has mastered that fact of tricking us for years.

-later that night-

"We should get a move on." Alyssa said.

"What do you mean?" Mark asked.

"I came here for one reason and one reason only and that's to that damn report and finish it." She said packing her things into a duffle bag.

"Where are you going to go? This place is a do maze." Andy said.

"Well I did find a map so that's a plus. And I've marked where we've been including where we are now." Alyssa said pulling a map out of her pocket.

"So is there an exit?" Joe asked.

"As far as I know I haven't seen a window without bars on it or a door leading outside yet."

"Well what if we went through the way we came in?" Maggie asked.

"We could but I don't think that old bored could take the pressure of six people."

"Where did you guys come in from?" I asked.

"We came from upstairs through a window. And we used a bored to get across this plat form." Alyssa said looking at the map again.

"Could that be the same room we came from?"

"Anyways though, there's the main door." She pointed at the bottom left corner of the map.

"If we can get there without getting the risk of getting killed, we could make it out of this place." I said looking closer to the map.

"If nothing happens, let's hope not, then we could definitely make it out of this place alive." She said folding the map back up again.

Our quest was to go through an asylum safety or quietly without being caught by a guy that would definitely kill us.
