Chapter 4:
-Ricks POV-
"What the hell was that?" Mark said.
I don't know what it was, it was old and creepy though.
Andy kicked it to see if it would move.
Nothing.
"Guys, I think it's a body." Andy said.
"A dead body?!" Joe said.
"Yeah." Andy said calmly.
"How are you so calm about this?" Mark said. "There is a dead body here!"
"Yeah and I said 'I Think' its a dead body, I'm not sure." Andy said.
"Well, do you wanna find out?" I asked
"I kinda do." Andy said.
Andy crouched down and just looked at the arm. He then got up and moved the giant piece of wood off of the object.
It WAS a dead body.
"Well we now know it's a dead body, but I wonder who it is." Andy said standing up.
"Well there is a name tag on his chest." Mark said bending down to look at it.
Mark walked up by the body and crouched down. "huh?" he said out loud.
"What?" Joe said.
"He doesn't have a name." Mark said.
"He doesn't have a name?" Joe said looking confused.
"He doesn't have a name, he has a number on his chest." He said standing up and turning around.
"What's the number?" I asked.
"105." Mark said.
"What does that mean?" Andy said.
"I'm not sure. It has to be what they were called instead of their name." Mark said looking at Andy.
"Well maybe if we find the main office or whatever we could find out who they where." Joe said.
"Good idea Joe." I said.
We walked away from the mysterious dead body to find something about this man.
We walked for about five minutes before we saw a strange shadow in the window of the main office.
"Um guys what is that?" I asked. My voice was shaking from being nervous.
The figure was just standing there. We thought it was our reflections, but there was only one shadow.
"We need to get inside the office, but I'm not sure if that's just a figure or our imagination." Mark said.
We needed to get inside like Mark said, but there wasn't any other way to get in besides the front and that's where the figure was.
"Well what should we do?" I asked.
"Well you are the leader of this group. You where the one that brought us here. And something happens it's on you." Mark said getting all mad now.
He was right I did bring them here and if something did go wrong I would be blame for it.
I sighed "Your right Mark is something happens its on me. I'll go in first and if anything happens you guys run." I said nervously.
I started walking towards the door. My hands we getting sweaty from me being nervous, which always happened when I was nervous. I grabbed the door knob and turned it.
"It's ok Rick, don't be afraid." I said in my head "just be brave like asking out a girl you like, but this isn't like that, I could die and asking a girl out you won't die like for real, you would just die of embarrassment."
I turned the door knob and pushed it open.
I walked inside and looked around.
"Nothing?"
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I screamed.
"HOLY SHIT! ANDY! DONT FUCKING SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" I screamed on the top of my lungs.
He freaked out by the way I screamed, you could tell he wasn't ready for it. The he started laughing.
"Dude I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." He said still laughing.
"Guys there isn't anybody in here. It's like what Mark said, 'it might be a figure of our imagination.'" I said.
"That's good." Mark said coming up behind Andy and walking into the office. "Hey, man I'm sorry for getting mad at you, I was just paranoid from all of this Ray stuff and I don't want anything to happen to any of us."
"It's all good man." I said still catching my breathe from being scared from Andy.
Joe was the last one in the room. of course.
"Well we are in the office now. What are we looking for exactly?" Joe asked.
"Well we know that the guy we saw his number was 105 so maybe if we find a paper or something about the people that were once here we could find out who he was." Andy said pushing his glasses back on his face.
We looked around to see if we could find any papers about the people here. We found computers that didn't work but there there had to be a power source somewhere.
"Guys there has to be a power source of they have computers here and the lights. That's something I can't figure out why they are on. The computers aren't too old so they should still work, but maybe we need to find a power source somewhere." Andy said.
"Well we should look for it then. Maybe all if we find the power source then we could turn the computers on and see if they have any information about the patients." Joe said.
"Right. The power source should be downstairs or something. I'm not sure, but it shouldn't be higher then this floor." Mark said. "We should go out and find it so that we could turn the computers on and get the information. That's if they have any."
We left the office to go downstairs to find the power source, but as soon as we walked out of the office we something.
The shadow.
