"BREAKING NEWS! The city is under siege, and the truth is being smothered. Authorities are facing growing pressure in the Golden Orchid Case, as new evidence suggests powerful political figures may be involved in this case"

"Brutal crimes remain unsolved, while the police and politicians remain SILENT!. Why hasn't the police force acted? Why are politicians turning a blind eye? it's time the people demand justice! Now it's JUSTICE OR NOTHING!"

"This side Alessia Aurelia reporting live."

The camera cut, and Alessia Aurelia tugged her press ID from around her neck, tossing it onto the desk. She grabbed her water bottle, took a long, deliberate sip, her eyes locked on the newsroom screen, watching the live broadcast flicker to an end.

A storm of footsteps followed as her manager, Lucas East, approached, his face flushed with fury. "Alessia," he hissed, voice tight.

"do you have any idea what you've just done?"

She looked up, unbothered, meeting his gaze with cool defiance. "I told the truth. You should try it sometime."

Lucas clenched his fists, his frustration barely contained. "You can't just go around calling out the police and politicians like that. They pay our network, Alessia! Do you understand the kind of trouble you've just landed yourself in? You're putting your career on the line."

Alessia tightened her grip on the water bottle, then leaned back in her chair with an indifferent smile. "Maybe. But someone has to say it. You should stop kissing their asses."

Lucas looked away, jaw tense, his inner conflict plain on his face. "If you weren't Marco Aurelia's daughter, I'd...never mind." he muttered, throwing his hands up.

Alessia didn't flinch at the mention of her father's name. Instead, his words only seemed to harden her resolve.

"What? You'd fire me? Or worse, try to silence me?" she challenged, her voice cool and razor-sharp.

"You know as well as I do that I'm not afraid of that. What I'm afraid of is letting this city rot while everyone keeps pretending nothing's wrong."

Lucas paused, the weight of her words sinking in. "You think your father's name will protect you forever?" he finally said, his tone harsh.

She smiled, confident and unshaken. "Marco Aurelia's name doesn't protect me, Lucas. It just opens doors. What I do with them is up to me."

Without waiting for a response, she stood, grabbed her bag, and walked out, her head held high.

As she left the newsroom, she couldn't help but chuckle to herself, the image of Lucas's shocked face lingering. If only he knew the trouble I've been in before, she mused, this is nothing.
