"SHOCKING"

Outside Alessia's Office

The bustling streets blurred into the background as Alessia walked briskly toward her office, her mind still clouded with lingering thoughts of Jungkook.

Their last conversation was hitting her, and though she tried to mask it, a small part of her was still upset.

That. He . Hide. Things. From. Her

Before she could take another step, a hand wrapped around her wrist, pulling her into a quiet alley.

Startled, she turned to see the one person she couldn't ignore.

"Jungkook?"

He smirked, his sharp features softening when their eyes met.

"Mmm my Angry bird... what's wrong? Your replies are dry as hell these days."

Alessia avoided his gaze. "It's not... dry."

Jungkook tilted his head, his dark eyes studying her.

"You can't hide it from me, love." He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek.

"Are you angry at me?"

Her heart fluttered at his closeness, but she crossed her arms defensively.

"No... I'm not angry. Just... busy."

Jungkook let out a low chuckle, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

"Busy, huh? That's your excuse now? Don't lie to me, Alessia."

He kissed her again, but corner of her mouth.

"Stop trying to distract me" she muttered, her voice betraying a small hint of a smile.

Jungkook chuckled, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer.

"Don't melt, Don't melt" she thought.

"Distract you? From what? Your own boyfriend?"

He nuzzled his nose against hers, his warm breath brushing her skin. "Tell me, what's bothering you?"

Alessia bit her lip, trying to maintain her composure. "I'm not... mad"

"Liar," he teased, his hands gently squeezing her waist.

Alessia sighed, her walls crumbling. She couldn't keep this up anymore.

"I just... I've been thinking," she admitted quietly, meeting his gaze.

"You've never invited me to your place. It feels like you're hiding something from me. And it hurts, Jungkook."

His smile faded, replaced by a look of guilt. He cupped her face gently, his thumbs brushing her cheeks.

"Alessia," he murmured, his voice low and sincere.

"I'm not hiding anything to hurt you. I just... I have reasons. But you're right. You deserve to know everything."

Her eyes soften slightly, her heart skipping a beat. "Everything?"

Jungkook nodded, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead. "I'll tell you, love. Just... give me a little more time."

Alessia searched his eyes, her doubt wavering under the weight of his honesty.

Finally, she sighed and leaned into his chest, wrapping her arms around him.

"Fine," she said softly. "But don't make me wait too long, okay?"

He chuckled, kissing the top of her head. "Never, my love. Never."
