You woke up. Not in Sebastian's arms though. It was dark, and cold. You looked around, saw nothing. You looked ahead. You saw an eerie grayish light. You didn't know where else to go..so you walked towards the light. What you heard next isn't what you expected though.
It was a voice..you didn't know who's but it was a voice that seemed so recognizable but you couldn't put your finger on who's voice it was. You walked closer to it. The voice became clearer. It was one of the scientists that experimented on you.
When you got to the strange light there was a door, it was cracked. You hid off to the side of the door and listened in.
"What are you going to do once they find out they won't be set free after these little "Check-ups?"
One of them said, they seemed to be scolding the other.
"I don't know! Declare them as dead and put them down in the blacksite! Just leave them down there to rot for all I care!"
You felt your heart race. You looked into the door and it opened a little wider. It made a terribly loud creaking sound. The two people's heads snapped towards you. You gasped and stepped back.
"W-who was that?!? Was that one of the experiments?! Go check!"
The other started to walk towards the door and you started to run. You didn't know where to but..you were just running. In the endless black void around you. You heard the scientist shouting after you.
"Wait! Come back here right now!"
You kept running until you could barely breathe. As you finally sat down you took a look around you, you didn't know where you were but..it didn't feel right. It felt like something bad was about to happen. Before you knew it you heard the screeching of Angler. As soon as you looked at it you had woken up from your dream.
You took deep, frantic breaths and looked around. It was your room. Right beside you was Sebby..you looked at your hands, and felt your face. You weren't dreaming this time. You curled up into a ball and cried a little bit. You didn't know what else to do. All you could think about was that dream. What if you never get to be free again..?
