juicy red lips succumbed to unjust
broken and scattered upon the concrete stardust
her weary gaze haunts her every waking day
walking through the streets
she was lost in thought
as a ghost among the living
a shadow in the relentless distraught
she kept her lips pressed tightly together
a barrier against the verbal juggernaut
Bloody taste of the bitterness of betrayal
spilling solitude in every breath
relieving scars and wounded charade
her lips will forever be gripping shards
