Later that day, everyone came over. Becky and her family, Mom, Dad, Tyler and his parents, Amber and chad. It made me so happy to see how much everyone cared for my little girl.

Amber now had a small bump and she was practically glowing with happiness.

Caleb and I didn't talk, but pretended nothing happened for the sake of Madi's birthday.

"Alright Madi, time to blow out your candles!" I yelled. Her eyes lit up and she ran from all her new toys and to the table. Her cake was pink with Disney princesses all over it and the number '4' written in big letters.

"Happy birthday to you..." Everyone sang, but Madi looked like she was about to jump into the cake. She didn't care about the singing at all. I chuckled at her and pulled out my phone to take some pictures.

I found a picture in my gallery that I didn't remember taking... What the?

It was a picture of me and Madi laying in bed together. We were cuddling and looked sound asleep.

That was the night Caleb first stayed over... But how did he get this picture in my phone?

"Daddy!" I heard Madi giggle. I looked up and froze when I saw Madi running to Caleb. "Daddy, I blew out my candles!" She cheered excitedly. I could feel my heart breaking and I clutched my phone for dear life.

Caleb looked a mixture of heartbroken, and happy. He picked Madi up and hugged her, looking on the verge of tears.

Maybe I shouldn't push him away...

I ignored the dumb idea and went to cut the cake; trying to forget about what had just happened.

"Did you have a good day, sweetheart?" I asked, laying Madi down in bed. She nodded and then yawned. I laughed.

"Goodnight my love." I kissed Madi's forehead and was about to leave before she called for me.

"Mommy, will you tell daddy come give me kisses?" I froze. She thinks... I couldn't say it. I nodded and left the room.

I found Caleb packing his things in his room. He looked up and when he saw me he looked down again.

"Madi wants you to say goodnight to her..." I whispered, my heart breaking.

He stopped packing and his face paled.

"You can leave now." He said, unmoving.

I felt tears and my eyes and I didn't miss it when I saw Caleb drop onto his bed with his head in his hands and his body shaking fiercely.
