*Bella's P.O.V*

I wish I could say Caleb was my first.

But then I wouldn't have Madi.

I can say, that Caleb was the first to make me feel truly loved.

At some point during our little late night swim, I gave myself to Caleb. Completely. Finally.

Thank god for private beaches.

Caleb made me feel like I'd never felt before. Every touch, every kiss, every moan, everything I felt last night was completely new. Completely perfect.

"Caleb?" I whispered into the dark room. Madi was asleep in the room across the hall. After our little 'late night swim' Caleb and I came back to our room; then began round two.

I had my legs entangled with his and he was stroking my hair.

"Yes?" He whispered back. I smiled at the sound of his beautiful voice.

"I love you." There. I finally said it.

Silence. He was completely quiet.

Until...

"I love you too, Bella." I could hear the smile in his voice and it brought a smile to my own face.

I meant it. I loved Caleb. I loved him more than anyone Id ever met- with the exception of Madi.

I loved Caleb with every fiber of my being. Every bone in my body. Everything.

I love Caleb Connell.

Caleb was still sound asleep next to me and I smiled at his peaceful face. He looked... Happy. I reached my hand to his face and gently stroked his cheek, feeling nothing but happiness.

Caleb didn't even stir. I giggled. I wore the poor guy out.

I slowly slid out of Caleb's arms and into the connecting bathroom to change.

I pulled on a black bikini and slipped on a pair of Jean shorts and a navy blue, off-shoulder shirt. I put on my black flip flops, ran a brush through my hair and left the room in search of my little girl.

Madi wasn't in her room, but after hearing a few giggles from downstairs I knew she was with her grandparents.

Or, Caleb's parents.

Woah.

"Madi?" I called, stepping off the last step.

"Mornin mama." Madi said, continuing to stir her spoon around the tiny bowl. I almost laughed at the site. Rena was stirring what looked like pancake mix in a bowl similar to Madi's but bigger. Madi and Rena were both in aprons, Madi's was too big and it made her look adorable. Rena and Madi both had their hair pulled back into ponytails and Madi was covered in flower.

It was definitely adorable.

Two hands wrapped around my waist and I was engulfed in the smell of Caleb's cologne. Chocolate axe.

"Good morning, my love." Caleb said, pushing my hair back and kissing my neck. I smiled and intertwined my fingers with his as he rested them on my stomach.

"Mornin daddy." Madi said, still not looking up from stirring the mix. Rena had made at least four pancakes already.

"I think they're done, dear." Rena laughed. Madi put a hand to her chin like she was examining it. She then smiled and nodded.

"Yep!" She handed Rena the bowl and Rena continued to make pancakes.

Madi slid off the chair she'd been standing on and walked over to Caleb and I.

"Grammy says I'm a baker." She said with a toothy grin. I smiled back at her and leaned down to kiss her nose.

"You're the prettiest baker I know." I said to her. She giggled.

"Thank you mama."

I smiled at her.

"Okay, darling, let's get you cleaned up. Can you two finish these?" Rena asked. I nodded with a smile and untangled myself from Caleb. I put my hair behind my neck so it wouldn't get in the way and added another pancake on the stove.

Caleb sat on one of the bar stools next to the island, playing games on his phone.

I loved Rena's kitchen. It was filled with beautiful stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. It was big and spacious too so you weren't constantly bumping into things.

I heard the click of a camera and turned around. Caleb was holding his phone up with a goofy smile on his face.

I rolled my eyes and placed two golden pancakes on the plate setting on the island.

"Someone had fun last night." Robby's voice echoed through the kitchen. I looked up and furrowed my eyebrows.

He pointed to my neck and I immediately flushed, earning a laugh from both Caleb and Robby.

I pulled my hair over my shoulder to cover up the love bite Caleb had left on my neck.

The two kept laughing and I groaned, covering my face with my hands.

"What are you two doing to the poor girl?" Rena asked, stepping into the kitchen hand in hand with Madi. Despite the situation I smiled at them. Just like Caleb, they accepted Madi without a second thought.

"Just teasing her a little, love." Robby said, kissing his wife's cheek.

"You better be nice to her, Robby Connell." Rena scolded. "I wanna keep this one." She winked at me and walked to the cabinets to get plates.

Madi ran to the table, already excited for her pancakes. I laughed at how eager she was.

But when my stomach growled I thought one thing.

Like mother, like daughter.
