"Hey man, let go of her!" Luke yelled to Kayce. Bella looked up with her eyes growing wide. This was the worst possible scenario. " Luke, it's okay!" Bella said as Kayce held on to her. Luke stared Kayce down who at this exact moment, looked lethal."Who the fuck are you?" Kayce said angrily. Bella stepped between the two men. "That's enough, I'm fine- let's go."she said. Luke laughed and looked at Bella "I'm the love of her life." With that Kayce swung and hit Luke in the face. Luke then returned the punch and the brawl started. Bella screamed, "Stop it both of you. Stop!" Bella grabbed Luke's arm, trying to pull him back but he didn't stop. She went around to Kayce and grabbed his arms, who easily pulled them back to continue the fight. "Guys stop!"Bella yelled again. Finally, bystanders saw and broke up the fight. "The cops are probably on their way. Let's fucking go." Bella said angrily to Luke who stood firm. "Kayce please." Bella pleaded. Luke let out a laugh."I shoulda fucking known it was you, you see how good she's doing and how good she looks and wanna come back in and ruin her life, again. Not happening." Luke grabbed Bella's hand. Kayce looked like he was going to punch him again."Fuck you. You don't know her the way I do." Bella pulled Luke away and started down the street.
Luke apologized for what happened. He let her know he was just trying to protect her. Bella let him know she doesn't want to see that happen ever again. She sent Luke home and went home. She took a shower, got dressed, and drove down to the Yellowstone. She had to let Kayce know that wasn't okay. Bella ripped down the driveway in her brand new silver GMC Sierra Denali truck. She parked in front of the lodge, everyone staring at her. John, Lee, and Kayce were on horses in the middle of the corral. Lee knew her truck and galloped over. "Hey
Babe, what's goin' on?" She gave him a look,"I'm here to talk to Kayce, bring his ass up here." Lee laughed. "Oh shit, someone's in trouble. Be right back." Lee trotted over to the Dutton men and told him to come over, all 3 and Rip came over.
John-"Hey Isabell, miss us already?"
Bella-"I came to talk to your son."
John-" Well fuck son, what'd you do?"
Bella-"Keep your fucking hands to yourself. If it happens again, I'll press charges. I don't give a single fuck if you're commissioner or not,"
Lee-"What the fuck happened?"
Bella-"Fucking hot head over here got into a fight with Luke."
Lee- "Oh shit you met Luke? B, that had to have been awkward."
John- "Who the fuck is Luke? Kayce what the hell did you do?"
Kayce-"Bella and I had lunch, she got mad about the questions I asked her. I tried to grab her arm to spin her around and stop her from walking and her fucking boyfriend showed up.
Bella-"Come on Kayce, let him know why you swung at him. Don't be fucking shy now."
John- "What happened son? She's not one to get mad."
Kayce-"He said he was the love of her life."
Lee- "Bro,are you kidding? She's the love of everyone's life. You gotta be tougher than that."
John-"Well fuck Kayce- you fucked that one up. You shouldn't have thought you could do what you did and she'd be waitin' for ya. She deserved better than that and you know it. Now fucking apologize."
Kayce turned his horse and ran off, not saying a word. "Ugh, can I borrow a horse?" Bella asked, looking up at John. He nodded,"Your old buddy Denim is saddled in the barn. Go ahead. Knock some sense into him for all of us." Bella started down to the barn, she loved that horse, Denim, more than anyone ever knew. As she got to the barn, she saw him and petted his nose. "Hey buddy, remember me?" he nuzzled her immediately. "Let's go for a ride." She walked Denim out of the barn and got in the saddle, immediately having him walk out to where Kayce was talking to the wranglers. His back was to her as she got beside him and slid off the horse. She handed the reigns to a wrangler, then snuck behind him and yanked him off his horse, falling to the ground. He looked at her surprised but angry.
Bella-"You wanna fight someone? Fight me, your past."
Kayce-"I'm not going to fight you Bella"
Bella-" Why because you know I'll win?" Bella pushed Kayce.
Kayce-" No because I don't hit girls." as she pushed him again.
Bella-"My life is none of your business."she said slapping him in the face.
Kayce-"Bella stop." after a second slap.
Ryan yelled to John."You want us to stop this?" John yelled back, "No, y'all go on into the bunkhouse." They all started towards the bunkhouse as Bella continued to slap and push Kayce.
Kayce-"Bella stop."
Bella-"No, and my name isn't Bella."she said punching him in the stomach.
Kaye grabbed her fist as she came in to punch him again, carefully putting it behind her back pulling her against him.
Kayce-"Now this feels nice, doesn't it?"he whispered in her ear and smelled her hair.
Bella then stomped on his foot, making him let her go. She punched him in his stomach again
And laid him on his ass. He looked up at her surprised as she heard the wranglers yell "Ooh." He grabbed her ankles and laid her down on him, then rolled on top of her. She quickly rolled them over and slapped him again. He grabbed her hands and rolled back on top of her whispering in her ear after kissing it,"Baby all this is doing is turning me on." She started yelling and kneed him in the groin. Kayce rolled off of her. Bella stood up and started walking away. "I love you Bella, why won't you let me back in? I'm sorry." Kayce yelled. She turned around, "Because you don't deserve my love. But I hope one day you find someone who's love you do deserve."
Walking back up to John, she started to slap the dirt off her clothes. "Well done Bella. You earned a nice dinner and a drink." Bella responded, "I'm okay John but thanks."John chuckled,"I have some other stuff I need ya to look over so just stay for dinner. You can shower first, Beth has clothes you can wear or you can take Lee's or Jaime's." Bella stopped, "I'm not having dinner with him John." John stopped her."He has to go get his son, he won't be back anytime soon. Plus the rest of us would like to see ya." Bella just nodded her head. "Let me go say goodnight to Denim, I'll be right up." Bella headed back to the barn and loved on Denim some. She spent about 20 minutes talking to him, petting his nose, brushing him while telling him about her life."I know it's been a long time Denim but I still love you. I think
about you all the time. Just know, you weren't the reason I stopped coming by okay?"she said, kissing his nose. "That would have been me Denim, I'm the reason she stopped coming." Kayce said sadly. Bella kissed Denim's nose one more time "Love you buddy." She walked out of the barn and up to the house. John told her to use Kayce's shower, as everyone else was in their own. She headed up to his room and turned on his shower. This is so fucking weird. On his bed was a fresh towel, wash cloth, and bar of soap, grabbing it and taking it into the bathroom.
She turned the radio on and started scrubbing her skin, singing along to the country song on the radio. Kayce slipped in the bathroom,watching her as he undressed himself. Once naked, he slipped into the shower behind Bella. A few seconds later, she turned around, saw him, and screamed. He covered her mouth with his hand and pulled her to him, so close their foreheads touched. Bella used her hands to cover up, and tried to get out."Don't leave, I'm enjoying the view. I'm removing my hand, stop yellin'." Kayce said sweetly. He removed his hand from her mouth. His eyes scanned her body as he licked his lips enjoying what he saw. Bella tried to push past him and get out, as he leaned down grabbing the back of her thighs picking her up and holding her naked body against him. Bella gasped and then started trying to free herself. "Kayce, stop, let me go."she said. He realized she was scared, so he let her down."Sorry baby, I was just tryin' to lighten the mood. Bella also stared at his body-he's definitely great shape with a 6 pack, a chiseled chest, he's been branded though. But his dick is bigger than she remembers. Bella realized this was wrong, rinsed off, and got out. Kayce shut the water off hurrying after her as she wrapped a towel around her."I'm not a cheater Kayce. That was wrong," she said as she went into his bedroom looking for the clothes she was promised. "Fuck, he forgot the clothes." Bella mumbled to herself. Kayce opened his closet and handed her a t-shirt and flannel to choose from as he took the other. Bella went in and put her bra and underwear back on, putting the flannel on, holding down the hem of the shirt and walked back to the bedroom. Kayce held out a pair of black sweatpants and said "We didn't do anything. I did. I know you're not a cheater, I'm sorry." Bella stepped into the pants and Kayce crouched down to roll up the waistband to stop them from falling.
Bella walked out of Kayce's bedroom without a word. Everyone was in the dining room as she walked in. Two minutes later, Kayce walked out the front door. Lee looked at Bella with a knowing look, as she shook her head, signifying they'd talk later. Dinner went off without a hitch. They all discussed what Bella has missed out on, upcoming plans, and asked about her life. After dinner, they retired to the living room while John took a few calls. Bella told Lee what happened upstairs, Lee assured her she did nothing wrong.
