**Eight Years Later**

Eight years had passed since the life of the Lan family at Cloud Recess had taken an unexpected turn.

What was once a serene and disciplined environment and the home to the prestigious Lan Clan, had become a playground of chaos, courtesy of the next generation.

Then there were the twins, Lan Jingyi and Lan Sizhui, sons of Alpha Wei Wuxian and omega Lan Wangji are also seven years old and the youngest of them all, Lan Pinqi, a precious one-and-a-half-year-old omega girl, was the most mischievous of them all.

But what made Lan Pinqi stand out wasn’t just her age but it was her absolute ability to turn Cloud Recess upside down with the sheer force of her adorable temper.

If Lan Pinqi didn’t get what she wanted, she would scream her lungs out completely disregarding the fact that her mother, Lan Wangji, was the one who had once been known as the family’s troublemaker.

The dynamic between the two parents was hilarious, as Wei Wuxian would pout, and Lan Wangji would gently scold him.

Wei Wuxian is grinning mischievously, "Come on, Lan Pinqi, just let me hold you for a second. Don’t you want to see your old man’s handsome face?"

Lan Pinqi is wailing, "No, I want Mama."

Wei Wuxian is turning to Lan Wangji, exasperated, "Why does she always pick you over me? We made her together, you know."

Lan Wangji is stoic, holding Lan Pinqi close, "She’s not a puppy, she is my precious daughter."

Wei Wuxian is pouting, "But she didn't love me but puppies love me."
