❥Chapter 6❥

"You have to go shopping with him today, no matter what." Holly yelled over the phone. I groaned and rolled over the bed onto my back. Miles insisted he was taking me shopping for a dress today since the banquet is tomorrow.

"Why? I can just use a dress from my closet." I whined and my door opened, I looked over to see Miles standing in my doorway. Early this morning Miles mom found some glue solvent and we were freed, it was super awkward to sleep.

"Cause it will help the plan." Holly insisted I quickly ended the call, Miles defiantly heard that.

"What plan?" He asked as he sat on my bed, I sat up next to him.

"Holly was just planning what to do with my makeup tonight." I force a smile.

"We'll don't use to much makeup your pretty without it." He smiled gesturing at my makeup-less face. I felt my cheeks heat up the slightest bit. Then I reminded myself that this was Miles Adams I was talking to.

"Whatever, let's just get this over with." I said and put my hair into a bun. I stand up grab my money but before I could exit my room Miles got in the way.

"There is no freaking way I am letting you pay for your dress." Miles said taking my wallet, I refuse to carry a purse.

"As you just said, it is my dress you don't need to pay." I persisted grabbing back my wallet, he pulled it back before I could grab it.

"I may not ever be a gentle man but let me do this please?" He pleaded. I sighed but gave in. No matter how much of an asshole I know he is no one could ever deny that pouty face.

"Okay let's go." He chirped and put his hand on my back leading me out of my house.

"You are being particularly nice today, what's up Adams?" I asked sceptically as he opened up my door and I got into the car. He shut the door and ran into his side.

"Doesn't hurt to be nice right?" He smile and started the car. Although I didn't believe him I didn't say anything.

"How's Finn?" I asked as I glanced at him and he tightened his hold on the steering wheel.

"Why would you ask me." He growled and I shrugged.

"You're his brother so I thought you'd know. Plus I haven't seen him in a while." I smiled and Miles just grunted.

"Step brother." He corrected harshly. I just stayed quiet after a while. Why does Miles hate Finn so much? And if I recall correctly Finn acts so cocky around him.

The ride to the mall was silent. Not comfortable silence, awkward. Turns out we have the same music taste. Weird huh. Once we arrived he opened up my door and our day in hell began.

Don't get me wrong I like shopping, it's just that right now I am looking for a dress with a perverted egotistical male.
