Kats POV

So today was the day after the party and also it was Miles' real birthday. I had something planned for him that I really hope he enjoys, it's taken a lot of preparation and 50 pounds of shredded coconut so I hope everything goes as planed.

I walked into the school ignoring the stares, obviously the rumours about Finn and I went around.

"I heard she cheated on Finn with Miles."

"His step bro? Shit man."

"I heard that Finn actually cheated with Miles."

"They're gay?"

I actually laughed at that last one. I really didn't care. I should've seen it coming, Finn was an ass.

I saw Miles and we smiled at each other. He actually caught up with me so we could walk to drama together.

"Happy Birthday Miles." I hugged him and he hugged back.

"Thanks." He smiled and put his arm around my shoulders.

"You know this doesn't help the rumours about us." I said to him and he chuckled.

"Let them talk, it doesn't faze me." She said and I laughed. We then walked into Stacey.

"Hey babe, why is your arm around her?" Stacey asked rolling her eyes.

"Why does it matter it's not like we're together." Miles said and I felt really awkward.

"Yeah we are, I told you we were." Stacey scoffed and I chocked on my laughed. She then turned to me. "Did I say something funny?"

I chuckled. "It's just that, that's not how relationships work, you can't just change your mind with someone just cause, especially if their not interested."

"How would you know about relationships, your last one didn't last all too long, now did it." She crossed her arms and if I'm being honest her words kind of stung.

"Okay, I'm going to say this once so listen here bitch, you can't go around being an ass to everyone, just because you think you can. No one likes you, everyone is just friends with you because they're scared that you will make their life a living hell, but really, you don't have that power now do you? You're mean, conceited and arrogant. You're going to grow up with no one around you when you treat them like shit. And I'm going to guess that's why Miles isn't dating you now and his arm is around me." I said to her and her face held emotions I couldn't read.

"Whatever." She said and walked off. Miles couldn't stop laughing and he pulled me into his side.

"Well said." He gave me props and we walked into drama. I had to leave him for a second to talk to Mrs.Raymond about the plans tonight.

"So can I have the stage for an hour and I will clean it up afterwards." I clarified and she smiled and nodded.

I turned around to leave and I saw Miles there. "What was that about?" He asked I just shrugged.
