Miles Adams to the side.

❥ Kats POV

"Who wants to recite the lines of Juliet and who wants to be Romeo?" Mrs Raymond asked in a cherry voice her fluffy hair bouncing and she looked around the auditorium. It's been a week so far and I've gotten no where with the heartbreaking and it's kind of frustrating but I needed the time to plan.

"Come on people don't be shy I just need a male and female." I sink further into my seat, I love drama but I hate attention sometimes. "Kat, come up here let's see what you've got." I mentally groan and walk up to the front with a scowl.

"And now for a male-" Mrs Raymond didn't get to finish as the auditorium door swung open and someone stepped in.

"This is drama with Mrs Raymond right?" Miles asked and I scowled more. A mutter of yeses fell upon the room and everyone was basking in his glory while I was choking on his ego. Girls were swooning and I scoffed.

"I feel ya." Mrs Raymond whispered into my ear and I erupted into a fit of giggles. "Mr Adams what was the purpose of disrupting my class?"

"Well you see Mrs Raymond, I need an art credit to graduate and I haven't got one and this was the only class available so here I stand before you." He smirked and the girls started giggling and muttering to each other.

"Well Isn't that grand you walking right when I needed a male." She smiled deviously and I stared begged her quietly to pick someone else. In the week I've grown close to Mrs Raymond. She's very eccentric, unique, funny and like a second mother to me.

"Mrs Raymond couldn't we use someone more.... Experienced in your class?" I rushed out hoping she would change her mind.

"Now, now, Kat he should get to showcase any talent he has." She smiled over at him and he smirked at me. "We are doing scene 2 act 2 from Romeo and Juliet. For anyone who doesn't understand it's the balcony part." She explained and my face went white. That's like the most romantic part, I glanced over at Miles and his smirk grew bigger. I opened my mouth to object but nothing came out so I closed it.

Most girls were glaring at me and probably regretful that they didn't oblige to be Juliet. "Mrs Raymond, I feel... Uh- um sick, yeah I feel sick." Enter fake cough "I need a nurse or the hospital so I'm just gunna go." I stated and started running out of the auditorium.

"You leave, I fail you." Mrs Raymond said sternly but I could hear the amusement in her voice. I slowed my run to a walk then I stopped. "Miles, go get her." I heard her say quietly to Miles and I turned around to see him running up to me.

"Miles please don't." I pleaded and he smiled devilishly. "Miles. Don't. MILES MILES!" I screamed as her threw me over his shoulder and started walking to the stage. I was hitting his back pleading for him to set me down. "Miles I swear, put me down this instant." I kept hitting and it was no use. Visions of how he used to treat me started taking over my thoughts, how he would make fun of me for the fact that no one could pick me up. My eyes clouded with tears but blinked them away in fear of getting picked on for that too.

"You shouldn't of ran kitten." He shrugged and I could practically hear the smirk. He honestly pisses me off to great lengths.

"Miles if you don't stop calling me kitten and if you don't put me down I will tickle you." I said harshly trying to scare him, but he just chuckled and I could feel the vibrations from it. I know this wasn't a very scary threat but it's the first thing that came to mind. We were only a few steps from the stage but it was not an empty threat.

"I'd like to see you try." He challenged me, so I did what I had to do. I tickled him and he went into a fit of laughed dropping me in the process. Everyone gasped as I fell onto the ground, not to mention I was 6 feet above the ground. I groaned in pain turning my body so I was on my back.
