"Yeah, yeah, I know. Let's start then, shall we?"

Mammon nodded eagerly and we started eating.

"How did you put this together so quickly? I asked.

"I have my ways," Mammon mused.

"Hmph, fine, keep your secrets," I sighed. The food was really good, and I hummed in appreciation as I ate it. I was surprised, but really content with what Mammon had planned today.

We ate in silence for a bit. It wasn't an awkward silence, but comforting.

"Hey, Mammon?" I asked.

"Hm?" he hummed. He had finished eating and was staring at me, smiling softly.

"Whatcha smiling at?" I asked with a smirk as I leaned closer to Mammon.

"N-nothing! I was just thinking...about my Goldie! I love her so much!" Mammon said as his face turned bright red, adverting his eyes. My eyes narrowed.

"Awe, to think I almost would've kissed you if you would've said the truth. Oh well," I shrugged as I got up, finished with my food and walked away. Mammon started stuttering.

"W-w-wait, WHAT? You can't just- wait, MC!" Mammon was a mess. he followed after me and I giggled, stopping.

"What now?" I ask. Mammon was shocked.

"You can't just act like nothing just happened! That's not fair, MC!" Mammon whined. I hummed, and smiled devilishly.

"Lead the way, Mammoney," I said. Mammon went silent and we silently walked through the park.

As we walked along a path, our hands brushed. I felt my face flush as I glanced at Mammon. He also had a tinge of red on his face.

I felt my heart pound in my chest. Was I falling for...this demon? I've only known him for a while, but today has felt...different. Anytime we talk, I feel giddy on the inside. I've never really felt this way before, maybe a fraction of it when I read my books, but then again, it's not the same.

Suddenly, I felt Mammon grab my hand. I squeaked in surprise and looked down at our interlocking fingers. I looked up to him. His face was bright red and his eyes were adverted away from me.

"D-don't think too much into this! You should be honored to hold the Great Mammon's hand!" Mammon said. I smiled and laughed to myself.

"Okay, Mammon."

Mammon looked at me, huffed, and continued to walk. After awhile, we stopped by a lake, where there was a blanket on the shore.

"I figured we could take a break here. Talk for a bit. What do you say?" Mammon asked, gesturing to the blanket. I nodded, sitting down.

"So how are you liking your time in Devildom?" Mammon asked.

"You sound like Lucifer. He asks me that a lot," I mused. Mammon side-eyed me.

"I'm not him! I'm just...trying to make conversation," he explained defensively. I nodded in understanding.

"I suppose it's not too bad. I haven't been eaten yet, and I've made new friends, so it's going good," I said, sighing.

"Is Eli just a friend?" Mammon asked suddenly. I look at him surprised.

"Huh? Eli? I suppose. We hang out a lot and stuff."

"Didn't you kiss him, though?" I looked at Mammon, surprised.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Mammon's face started turning red again. "A few weeks ago, when I uh...made you mad. I saw you two kiss."
