Triggered warning: Non-con, smut
The claws that tore through norms, that shattered boundaries, seemed powerless against the gentle collision of lips. It was too soft, too delicate—almost reverent.
The king's lips moved across his with a quiet fervor, the faintest touch awakening the blood in his veins, a warmth surging to Felix's cheeks, coloring them in a deep, feverish shade. His body pressed close to the imposing figure of the king, and his mind drifted, caught between the weight of reality and the lure of fantasy.
It felt surreal.
Hyunjin pulled back, his heart racing, eyes locking onto the painter's. Felix's gaze mirrored his own, hazy with the same unspoken need. The artist's stare was magnetic, pulling Hyunjin out of every restraint, unraveling him with an intoxicating allure. Felix was more than a muse—he was art incarnate, a creation that defied reason.
Felix sat there motionless, uncertainty flickering in his eyes as he watched the king, his gaze tracing Hyunjin's, dancing to the rhythm of his piercing stare. Hyunjin's hand rose, steady yet certain, as he cupped Felix's cheek. The warmth of his touch sent Felix reeling, his thoughts spiraling up into a blissful haze where only Hyunjin's divine presence filled his vision. The king's gentle warm breath caressing on his face, making his heartbeat fastening.
But then, without warning, Hyunjin's hand slid back, fingers entangled in Felix's golden hair, tightening until a sharp pain flared at his scalp. Felix gasped, instinctively reaching up to grip the king's wrist, his breath catching as Hyunjin yanked his head back almost as if he was going to pluck the painter's hair out from his head, forcing him to meet his unrelenting gaze.
"What did you think, hmm?" Hyunjin's voice was a low growl, laced with anger and something darker. Teeth gritting, "That you could just slip away from me?"
A sudden sting of tears welled in Felix's eyes, his body trembling under Hyunjin's grip. The king's eyes burned with barely controlled fury, their intense red hue searing into him. Hyunjin's hold tightened, each pull making Felix wince.
"You realize how deeply you've displeased me," Hyunjin murmured, his voice dark, vibrating through Felix's bones. "Running away, tearing apart my queen's unfinished portrait… Did you think there'd be no consequences?"
Felix's breath hitched, the words hitting him like stones. His lips parted, but he struggled to speak, his voice shaking. "I… I didn't run, nor would I ruin the queen's painting, Your Majesty."
"Lies." Hyunjin finally burst out, not holding back anymore. Oh how much his bones were struggling to keep him from ripping the painter apart from limbs to limbs. Felix yelped, the sting on the grip taking his breath away, fading the sight of the king out from his teary vision.
"How many lies do you want to feed my ears, huh?" Hyunjin's voice darkened, he was nearly shaking with anger, "You have to be enlightened about the consequences of displeasing the King, and I'll make sure to feed with acknowledgement, make sure to ...make sure to engrave it into every part of you," Hyunjin continued, his voice a venomous whisper. He leaned closer, each word punctuated with the weight of his barely-restrained fury. "So you remember… even when I'm not watching."
Felix's eyes widened, his body going rigid under Hyunjin's powerful grip. The king’s gaze was relentless, boring into him, unyielding and fierce. The soft warmth from just moments ago had vanished, replaced by an intensity that clawed at his very soul, wrapping him in a suffocating blend of fear and something darker he dared not name.
Hyunjin's fingers twisted tighter in Felix's hair, tilting his head further back. "Do you know what it means to betray me?" His voice was almost a growl now, vibrating through the air, sending chills down Felix's spine. "Or do you need me to remind you, here and now?"
