Y/N, Oliwia and the rest of the players who chose to play for Germany made their way through the door that was assigned to the German wing.
It lead them into a dark room where a hologram of Ego began to explain some stuff to them. Noel Noa was there too! And the rest of the German team as well, but they were standing in the shadow.
Just then, when Ego named a 'survivor of the wild card' another door opened. Kunigami stepped inside the room. He looked different, a lot different.
- Ah...Kunigami!
Oliwia took a few steps forward, shocked to see Kunigami back at Blue Lock. The girl run up to Kunigami, but he pushed her away, somehow kinda gently.
- 𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐫.
Noel Noa went down the small stage and made his way to the exit. Before walking out, he looked behind him.
- Die zwei mädchen. Komm mit mir. (The two girls. Come with me.)
- Y/N, he told us to come with him.
- Oh? Alright?
Y/N and Oliwia made their way together with Noa while there was a countdown of 10 seconds.
After it went down to 0, the players were supposed to undergo a run to the goal through various of obstacles. The faster the player came to the goal, the better.
- Kunigami, i didn't knew there was a wild card battle. Welcome back, hero.
- Stop.
- Huh?
- I'm not a hero anymore. I left that immature joke back in hell. Prepare yourself Isagi, I'm gonna be the best striker in the world.
The gate opened itself when the timer went to a 0. The first zone was a straight dash. The second zone - incline dash. Third zone - ladder sprint. Fourth zone - step jumps. The final zone - pole dribble and shooting.
When Isagi was about to shoot his shot, someone blocked it by shooting another ball in that direction.
- Endlich treffen wir uns, Isagi Yoichi. (I've always wanted to meet you, Isagi Yoichi.)
- Huh?
The guy's name was Michael Kaiser. He was one of the players on the Germany team, the best one. Seconds later, another guy came.
- Das bringt nichts, Kaiser. Die können dich nicht verstehen. (That won't do, Kaiser. They can't understand you.)
The boy gave out earplugs to each player. They automaticly translated language and worked with different languages. They were a small gift from Ego.
- Sorry I didn't gave those to you sooner, but it's nice to meet you. My name's Ness.
The earplugs didn't fall out easily, so the players could wear them while playing soccer but they were still a prototype. The earplugs were from the Mikage company. Reo's father company.

Kaiser and Isagi began to fight a bit. The fight was caused by Kaiser, who insulted and threatened Isagi, wanting to humiliate him in front of the others.
- Knock it off, Kaiser. It's childish. Quit trying to assert dominance.
Just then, Noel Noa came out of nowhere. He scolded Kaiser for his childish behavior and actions towards Isagi.
- Sorry, Noa! Just thought I'd try to liven things up.
- Don't talk back. I make the rules here.
- Right. Yes, sir.
The scores came up on the board. The Blue Lock players were the only ones with low scores. Isagi was the only one who didn't clear the stage, taking place 21. All because of Kaiser.
Place 20 - Igaguri. Place 19 - Kiyora. Place 18 - Hiyori. Place 17 - Kurona. Place 16 - Gagamaru. Place 15 - Raichi. Place 14 - Neru. Place 13 - Yukimiya. Place 12 - Schneider. Place 11 - Bachman.
Place 10 - Mensah. Place 9 - Birkenstock. Place 8 - Sachs. Place 7 - Ndiaye. Place 6 - Ali. Place 5 - Grim. Place 4 - Gesner. Place 3 - Kunigami. Place 2 - Ness. Place 1 - Kaiser.
That's how the leaderboard looked like now. The players were now supposed to undergo a special training to test their maintenance, mentality and strength.
