Y/N pov ;
We entered Bastard München's locker room, I could sense that there was a slight tension between some of the players. Either way, I sat down on one of the benches, glad that the first match was over now.
The guys began to change their shirts and stuff. Some of them went to take a shower as well. I let out a sigh, letting myself just relax.
- I still can't believe we're live on TV! We gotta act normal! I'm getting nervous!
Said Igaguri who was standing in front of the camera that was in the locker room, doing peace signs. I wondered why they even put a camera in there, probably fan service.
At least they didn't put them in the bathrooms and our private rooms. That would be too much. But everywhere else, they had placed the cameras.
- Wait, that means when I kicked Kaiser in between his legs, it could have been on camera? Oh hell no...
- If it was, at least they know why it happened?
- Right! Thanks for backing me up, Kurona!
- Having everything we do sent out to the whole world is nuts, huh? But Rin was placed higher than me, he scored 2 goals in just one game.
- Forget about Kaiser and Ness, we just need to take out one of the other three guys, including Isagi on the front line, right?
- Grim's salary is 40 million, you know.
- Huh?! That's high too! Dammit, I wish I could play through favoritism like Isagi over there...
- It's not like i asked for that.
- Isagi's right. It's a chance he got for himself after scoring the winning goal against the U-20 team.
- Yeah, Raichi. Isagi's great at grasping his own chances.
- What a petty guy...
- I DON'T WANNA HEAR THAT FROM YOU, IGAGURI! Alright, I get it. It's frustrating, but I'll accept it.
- I won't accept it though.
Yukimiya suddenly cut himself into the conversation, walking over to Isagi. He seemed a bit annoyed, maybe even mad.
- Making a pass so you can get onto the starting lineup makes me doubt you're the type who's really trying to become world's best striker.
- Huh? But it's not like I made that pass because I wanted to.
- Fine. But that doesn't change the fact that you disappointed me, Isagi.
- Yeah, I made an assist...Wouldn't you have done the same in my place?
- No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't feel good about a pass like that.
I watched in surprise as Isagi and Yukimiya argued with each other. It was the first time I saw Yukimiya being like this, he was usually really nice and polite to the other players.
Hiyori and Igaguri stopped them. Just then, Kaiser walked inside the locker room. He had just finished showering.
- If you hate Isagi that much, then follow me, Yukimiya. Aren't you just jealous of Isagi's circumstances and achievements? Everyone has that demon named 'envy', and learning how to tame it is what makes a professional.
- Thanks for the lecture, but I still won't follow you, Kaiser.
- I just came to give some advice. I'm just telling you to make the smartest choice for your own life. Don't choose the wrong king, you filthy peasants. Oh, and don't think I forgot about you, Oliwia. I will get back at you.
- Quit yapping. You ain't gonna do shit.
Kaiser left the room. He was such a jerk, I had no idea one could have such a big ego. If I was supposed to choose who to follow, it would've been Isagi for sure. The next match was in 10 days, we were supposed to play against Manshine City.
