After they both confessed their feelings to each other, they decided to have dinner together and remember the whole journey they had been through in those last few months: all the laughter, the arguments, the fears and the tears. Every step on that path had led them to that moment, a moment where only they existed, sharing an intimate space in which nothing else mattered.

It was a new feeling for both of them, an unknown territory that they explored without rushing and without labels. Simply being together, feeling their caresses and the connection that had been born between them was enough... for now.
...

In the darkness of the night, a heavy rain hit the windows of Yoko's room, who was sleeping soundly next to Faye. But, in the middle of the night, Yoko woke up slightly when she felt an unexpected firm grip. She turned her head and saw Faye, who, deep in sleep, murmured her name in a trembling voice while she brought Yoko's hips closer to her, holding them as if her life depended on it. The sensation was so intense that Yoko froze, her breathing coming in ragged gasps, and she tried to call out to Faye, but her words failed to come out.

She felt Faye's heat increasing, her movements slow and rhythmic as she murmured her name in longing whispers. Yoko, caught between bewilderment and this new, disturbing closeness, couldn't move. She tried to process what was happening, embarrassed and vulnerable, but unable to pull away.

As the minutes passed, her body began to relax and her breathing became more even. Slowly, she allowed herself to sink into these sensations, abandoning herself to what the moment was awakening in her. Gently, Yoko let her hips curve closer to Faye, causing a short, guttural moan to escape Faye's lips.

...

Outside, the rain was easing, as was the quickening of both of their breaths. Finally, the two of them fell into a deep sleep, holding each other tight, as if clinging to each other in the certainty that they never wanted to let go.

The next morning, Faye woke up later than usual. She reached for the other side of the bed, finding it cold and empty. She jumped up and put her feet on the floor, but as she took the first step, she felt a slight pain in the sole of her foot.

Beneath her foot was a necklace in the shape of a blue butterfly, which shone faintly in the dim light of the room. It was gold-like, and on the back of one of the wings were engraved letters. One of the wings was broken, so the message was not entirely legible. Before she could examine it more closely, a knock on the door startled her.

There was Yoko, in her baggy pajamas and her hair in a messy bun, walking slowly towards the room.

"Good morning, Miss Malisorn," she greeted with a mischievous smile as she scanned Faye's entire figure from head to toe.

Faye looked up, still sleepy, with her mouth half open and the necklace between her fingers, without Yoko seeming to notice what she was holding in her hands yet.

"Good morning, Miss Apasra. You woke up early today."

Yoko moved a little closer and looked down at Faye's hands, where the shine of the necklace captured her attention. Yoko's expression turned somber. Sensing the change, Faye tilted her head, worried.

"Yoko, are you okay?"

Yoko could barely murmur as she gently caressed the necklace, with a mix of nostalgia and something that Faye didn't quite understand.

"Y-yes, I'm fine," Yoko replied as she stepped back and put the necklace away on the nightstand next to the bed. "Come on, prepare breakfast for both of us."

Faye, not wanting to make the situation any more awkward, watched Yoko for a moment and then walked over.

"Sure, give me a few minutes."
