Sasuke's legs trembled as he gingerly stepped into the church. Encased in a beautiful glass coffin with tumbling white silk and flowers surrounding it was Ama, her eyes closed, lips curled slightly in a beautiful, mystical Mona Lisa smile.
She holds a secret it seemed to whisper. Sasuke smiled, and slowly lifted the glass.
Her skin was flawless and smooth, not a single flaw or mark. The shroud she was dressed in flowed around her, filling whatever space her body doesn't fill in the coffin. Sasuke wiped a stray tear, and lifted Ama's right finger, where the only scar from the engagement ring was.
She never healed completely either.
"I, Uchiha Sasuke, take you, Tsuchi Amaterasu , to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
Sasuke slipped the wedding right on to her finger, and kissed each digit lightly. Finally, he bent down to kiss his bride's forehead.
"I now declare you husband and wife," the priest announced, "you may kiss the bride."
Ama blushed as Sasuke spun her closed to him, and with a hand on her back, he tipped her back and kissed her sweetly, innocently and lovingly.
"Uchiha Amaterasu," Sasuke breathed, and slowly, he lowered the coffin. He swore she really smiled.
