Once Sasuke has faded into the crowd, I apologised to the people behind me, nudged my way out and called Naruto.

"Naruto, can you come?" I asked, walking towards the other end of the airport.

"Yeah, where are you now?" his static voice came through my phone.

"At the last exit of the airport."

"OK. Coming."

"Are you sure about this?" Naruto rested his chin against the driving wheel, offering me tissues while I try to calm down the storm both emotionally and physically.

"I have to...I'm not worthy," I choked, then bursted into tears again. Normally I never cry, and the only ones that have seen me shed even one drop was my closest friend, or my pillow at night. Yet there's me now, a torrent of seemingly unshed tears from my life so far crashing down my face.

Between episodes of depression, I managed to get Naruto to get me to his house, where he tried not to look too closely at the wet patches on my business blouse. As soon as the door was unlocked, I charged in, grabbed every booze I could see and locked myself in the closest room.

"Ama..." Naruto sighed at my phone, where I had a photo of Sasuke smiling as wallpaper.

"You're the one that can't let him go."

"Naruto, here's the plan," the moment I sat down at the dinner table where Naruto was, I started talking.

"Gimme a break, miss. I'm not a morning person," Naruto yawned, ruffling his hair and grinned halfhearted with his eyelid half closed.

"Well you will be now, because you are my friend, and you would help me no matter what, yeah?" I asked, but my tone allowed no space for argument. Instantly his eyelids snapped up like blinds and he stopped half yawn.

"Yeah. What's with the thing about a pretend cheat on Sasuke? You do realise how many tiny pieces you will break his heart into, right?"

"It's better than having a part of him die with me, and therefore unable to go on," I pinched my nose to stop the sting in the bridge.

"What?" Naruto's eyes went comically wide, which would have been funny under other circumstances. His eyes went from a slit to normal to anime size in a few seconds.

I told him about my trip to the doctor, how my day went from nervous to straight up depressing. Understatement.

"Oh Ama...," Naruto suddenly found an interest in napkin origami, not that I can blame him.

"Ama, how are you planning to do this?" he leaned forward, eyes suddenly bright and alert. After I explained my plan, I choked, "you will help me through right?", while clamping a hand over my nose and mouth in a pathetic attempt to stop the flowing rivers on my face.

"Anything for you, my best friend. Even if I have to go through hell and back," he smiled sadly.

"Oh Naruto," I wailed, falling into his arms, "what will Sasuke do without me?"

"What would I do without you?" Naruto whispered softly just I began to pass out from exhaustion.
