Somewhere in Moscow, Russia. 02:25 am
"You've been hiding well" a nasal voice broke through the silence, a hint of sarcasm evident in his tone.
Leonidas looked up from his papers, moving his attention to where the voice emerged from.
"What do you need Feliks?" Leonidas sighed, running a hand through his coarse and greying hair.
A dry chuckle escaped Feliks' lips, the man shook his head before continuing.
"Босс может защитить вас только до определенного момента." (The boss can only protect you for so long)
Feliks explained before lighting a cigar and bringing the stick to his mouth.
At his words, Leonidas raised a brow. He felt his body tense as he remembered the enemy he had made with Salvatore.
However, he did not fear the consequences. He knew what he would deal with whilst making the decision of betraying Salvatore.
To him, Salvatore was something to laugh at. A facade that appeared more powerful and frightening than it truely was.
To Leonidas, the power of Salvatore was insignificant when faced with the Russian mafia.
"Boss isn't protecting me from anything" Leonidas laughed dryly, shaking his head at Feliks' foolishness.
"He is simply repaying me for all that I have done"
He continued, breathing heavily as his eyes narrowed on the tall and lanky man ahead. A tainting smirk pulled at Feliks' thin lips, blowing out a cloud of grey smoke.
"And what exactly have you done?" Feliks pried further, raising a brow as he placed the cigar down before bringing a hand to his chin.
"не веди себя глупо" Leonidas huffed, growing agitated by the man. (Don't act stupid).
Feliks grinned as he exposed his crooked teeth, his arms crossing in front of him before he took a seat in front of Leonidas.
Feliks ran a hand through his wispy hair, his skin was ghostly as his hair imitated the shade of a bright light. His eyes, however, captured the essence of a void. Dark and unnerving.
Leonidas sighed before pushing away his files, clearing out the oak desk which sat between the two men.
"It's been 5 years since I've been to Italy" Leonidas began, his hand resting upon the table as his voice fell flat.
Feliks tilted his head at the man's words, unsure as to what Leonidas would reveal. "...I've been in hiding for 5 years" He continued.
"...and Adrik has yet to live up to his promise" Leonidas huffed, the room enclosing as an uncomfortable silence lurked through the air.
