The curious nymph ran down the muddy path which led towards an enchanting scenery.

The creaking of the branches and rustling of the leaves fell ignorant to Angel, who's attention was only fixated on the mystical waterfall ahead.

Struggling to catch up behind her was Nailea, who's hands were full of wild flowers she had collected along their journey.

The two girls were out of breath and a slight layer of sweat glistened along their faces.

A gasp escaped Nailea's mouth as her large brown eyes grew fixated on the waterfall. Aquamarine waves fell graciously down the rocks, bubbling and thrashing against the depth.

Colourful fish danced playfully, and various insects dwelled along the moss.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"Angel spoke as she admired the breathtaking view. At her words, Nailea nodded dumbfounded.

"More than beautiful, it's..." Nailea trailed off as she paused to think of the perfect word to describe the scene.

"Tranquil" Angel finished off her sentence as she breathed heavily.

"I always come down here whenever I need peace" Angel explained as her dainty fingers traced the ripples in the giggling cold water.

"Sometimes I read, paint, even dance here" She tittered softly as she realised how silly she sounded. It was Angel's safe place, where she would feel in union with mother-nature and creation.

The crickets rang like bells, emitting a melodious rhythm of arcadia. The sun was gradually burning their exposed flesh, slightly crisping away along their shoulders and collar bones.

After the intense private the day before, Angel needed to be away from the estate. She did not want to run into Salvatore and she wanted to forget about Marcello.

The way Salvatore's eyes had darkened when they landed on Marcello's touch against Angel's body. It look as if he was ready to kill.

The moment of peace was soon interrupted by an obnoxious splash into the depth, and chilling droplets tickled Angel's face.
