The day was still buzzing with the adrenaline of Karasuno's recent victory over Tsubakihara, a hard-fought match that had ultimately ended in Karasuno's favor. The players, still flushed with the warmth of their success, were gathered in the gymnasium, exchanging high fives and discussing the highlights of their game. Even those who didn't play, like Yachi, felt the lingering satisfaction of the team's win. As the sounds of celebration filled the air, the weight of the upcoming rounds became a little more real, but for now, the team had earned a well-deserved break.

Yachi smiled softly as she organized the equipment on the sidelines. Her heart raced with excitement, but she couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed. She hadn't expected the intensity of the competition to be so electrifying, and though her nerves had been on edge throughout the match, the victory had given her a new sense of belonging. She was part of something bigger now. The team's success was her success, too, and that realization warmed her from within.

After a brief break, the team decided to watch some of the other matches on the schedule. Yamaguchi had suggested it first, eager to see how the other teams were faring. Tsukishima, though skeptical, had agreed, and Yachi, feeling curious, was happy to join.

The first match they watched was between Nekoma and Kiyokawa. The gymnasium was buzzing with anticipation as both teams took their positions. Yachi sat with Yamaguchi and Tsukishima in the stands, her eyes scanning the court for any familiar faces. She didn't have to look hard before she spotted Kuroo, moving effortlessly around the court, commanding attention with his leadership. The defensive skills of Nekoma were on full display, with Kenma pulling strings from the back, Yaku directing the defense, and Lev's surprising presence at the net making his impact felt.

Yachi couldn't help but watch Kuroo with admiration. His leadership, his strategic mind, and his presence on the court were captivating. The match was intense, but it was clear that Nekoma was in control. Their quick, seamless transitions between offense and defense were mesmerizing to watch. Even Tsukishima, usually so reserved, seemed to be paying close attention, his arms crossed as he studied their plays.

"You can really see Kuroo's influence on the team," Yamaguchi said, his voice low but full of awe.

"Yeah," Yachi replied quietly, her gaze never leaving the court. "They work so well together. It's impressive."

Tsukishima didn't look particularly moved. "They're not invincible," he muttered, though even he couldn't deny the skill and cohesion of the Nekoma team. "But I'll admit, they're good at what they do."

Yachi smiled slightly at Tsukishima's bluntness. There was something admirable about how Nekoma worked as a unit. Even Kenma, with his quiet demeanor, seemed to anticipate every play before it happened, guiding his teammates through every rally with a quiet intelligence that made them even more dangerous. It was no surprise that Nekoma clinched a clean 1-0, leaving the crowd roaring in appreciation.

Yamaguchi leaned forward, still absorbed in the match. "They're impressive," he said. "I'd like to see Karasuno take them on."

Tsukishima's voice was dry as he replied, "Sure, but we'll beat them. No question."

Yachi's heart fluttered at his confidence. She wanted to believe in them too, but facing a team like Nekoma would be a challenge. Still, she felt herself growing bolder, standing next to her teammates and sharing in their determination.

As the players from both teams began to head off the court for a short break, Yachi stood up to stretch her legs. She spotted Kuroo again, this time standing by the sidelines, talking to a few of his teammates. She couldn't help but watch him for a moment, admiring his natural leadership and the easy way he interacted with everyone around him.
