The sound of volleyballs hitting the floor, the swoosh of sneakers on polished wood, and the cheering of the crowd filled the air. The charity event was in full swing, and the gymnasium hummed with an energy that was almost palpable. People from all over had come to watch the legendary players-some retired, some still in the game-compete in a match that would raise funds for a good cause. The players, fierce competitors as always, were giving it their all, but there was a sense of camaraderie that made the atmosphere feel lighter, warmer than any professional match.

Yachi stood by the sidelines, her eyes scanning the court as she watched the players move with an intensity that both awed and terrified her. The nerves were familiar; the same fluttering anxiety she'd felt when she first started working alongside Kuroo, when the responsibility seemed overwhelming. But now, as she took in the event she'd helped organize-every detail, every last-minute adjustment, every long conversation with Kuroo-it felt different. It felt like a part of her, a reflection of everything she had worked for and believed in.

Kuroo stood beside her, his usual confident demeanor intact, but there was a warmth in his eyes as he observed the game. The two of them had been working together tirelessly for weeks, juggling everything from sponsorships to logistics, and yet, here they were, watching it all come together. It was like watching a dream unfold-a dream that was no longer just hers, but theirs. Every detail, every small decision they had made together, had led to this moment. And as the teams on the court moved fluidly, effortlessly, she could feel the quiet pride that surged through her. It wasn't just about the event itself-it was about the journey that had brought her to this point.

Yachi turned her gaze toward Kuroo, her heart beating a little faster as she met his eyes. His focus was on the game, but she could see the corner of his mouth lifting in a small, knowing smile. A smile that spoke volumes, one that acknowledged all the hard work they'd put in, all the late nights spent discussing the smallest details and the countless moments when she had doubted herself.

"How does it feel?" Kuroo asked, his voice low enough to be drowned out by the occasional roar of the crowd. He glanced at her, his expression softening, something warm flickering in his eyes.

Yachi hesitated for a moment, a lump forming in her throat as she tried to find the right words. Her gaze returned to the court, watching as one of the players made a spectacular dive to save a point, the crowd erupting into applause. The energy in the gym was infectious, and for a moment, Yachi felt herself caught up in the rush of it all. But then she realized: she was more than just an observer here. She had helped make this happen. This was her work, her contributions, but also something much bigger than that.

"It's... it's everything I hoped for," she said quietly, her voice carrying a slight tremor that she couldn't quite hide. The nerves, the excitement-it all felt so overwhelming, and for a moment, she wondered if she was ready for all of this. "But at the same time, it's a little scary."

Kuroo chuckled, the sound warm and reassuring, his voice dropping into a comforting tone. "Scary's good. Means you're pushing yourself." His eyes met hers, and there was something about the way he looked at her, like he could see right through her anxiety, right to the heart of what she was feeling. "And you did a great job. Look at this-everything's running smoothly. It's all you."

Her chest tightened at his praise, the words sinking in deeper than she expected. He was right, of course. The event was running smoothly; people were laughing, enjoying themselves, and everything was coming together just as they had hoped. But it hadn't been just her. It couldn't have been. Kuroo had been by her side the whole time-pushing her to think bigger, guiding her through the tough moments, making her believe in herself when doubt threatened to overwhelm her.
