Their relationship deepened like a river carving its way through the landscape, slow and steady, finding new paths and meanings with each passing day. The early hesitations and careful words had faded, replaced by an unspoken understanding that anchored them. Every moment spent together felt like it was building toward something lasting, something more substantial. They had crossed an invisible line-one neither of them had expected to cross so soon-but now that they had, they were fully committed. They were entwined, not just in the rhythms of their days but in the very essence of each other's lives.

It was in the small, intimate gestures that everything became real. The simplest things spoke louder than any grand declarations could.

One morning, as sunlight filtered softly through the curtains, Yachi sat up in bed, feeling the early quiet of the apartment wrap around her. The smell of coffee drifted in from the kitchen, and the familiar buzz of her phone broke the silence.

"Morning, Hitoka," the text from Tetsurou read. She smiled to herself, that familiar flutter in her chest returning. She paused for a moment, feeling the simple weight of the words, the intimacy behind them. It was nothing grand-just two words-but in this new phase of their relationship, it felt like everything.

"Morning, Tetsurou," she typed back, the corners of her lips lifting as she did. There was something special about calling him by his first name now. It felt less like a casual shift and more like they were unlocking something private, a space just for them. The hesitation they once had about it was gone.

The first time Yachi had called him "Tetsurou," it was nothing short of an accident-but that didn't stop it from feeling like an electric spark between them.

They were lounging on the couch in his apartment, the dim light from the TV casting soft shadows around the room. Their conversation had drifted naturally into playful teasing, both of them trying to outdo each other with sarcastic quips and jokes.

"You really think that's how it's gonna work?" Yachi raised an eyebrow, her arms crossing in that familiar challenge. "You think you can just throw all these complicated ideas into the mix and expect everything to go smoothly?"

Kuroo leaned back, flashing her that lazy grin he was known for. "Well, yeah. That's the plan." He tilted his head back, his eyes glinting with amusement as he stared at her. "You can handle it, right?"

Yachi scoffed, shaking her head with a smile. "Impossible."

And that's when it slipped out, as natural as if she'd been calling him that all along. "You're impossible, Tetsurou."

The words hung in the air for a split second before Yachi's eyes widened in realization. Her breath caught, her heart doing a little flip in her chest. She hadn't meant to say it-hadn't even realized she had until it was already there, hanging between them. It felt like a fragile thing, a shift in their dynamic that she hadn't expected. Her cheeks flushed pink, her stomach twisting nervously as she glanced up at him.

Kuroo froze too, the teasing look in his eyes softening into something more intense. A slow, appreciative smile tugged at his lips as he let out a low chuckle, eyes never leaving hers. He didn't look surprised or uncomfortable-he looked... pleased. His gaze softened further, his voice lowering to something far more intimate.

"Did you just-?" His smile deepened as he leaned forward slightly, as though the word lingered in the air between them, tangible and full of meaning. "Did you just call me 'Tetsurou'?"

Yachi's heart pounded in her chest as she fumbled for words. Her hands were clammy, her mouth dry. "I... I didn't mean-" She stammered, the blush spreading across her cheeks. It was too late to take it back now.
