Sinking into the plush embrace of the bean bag, I found myself lost in a whirlwind of emotions, the echoes of the previous afternoon still dancing in my heart.

The flutter of butterflies took flight in my stomach, a familiar yet unnerving sensation that left me questioning why it was so difficult to escape the magnetic pull of Krish.

Why was he the only one who could stir such tumult within me? Thankfully, he had opted out of the bonfire party, granting me a brief respite from the confusion that came with his presence. As I reminisced, Reyansh's voice broke through my thoughts, cutting through the haze with a genuine compliment.

“You look beautiful,” he said, his warmth like the sun breaking through the clouds. I couldn’t help but smile; he was my steadfast companion, always managing to brighten my darkest days.

“Thank you,” I replied, the words tumbling out like a joyous melody. But then, with his playful insistence, he nudged me toward the precipice of vulnerability.

“Hey, I think you should confess your feelings to him. He surely loves you.” Reyansh was busy arranging plates for the barbecue, his casual tone masking the weight of his words.

I shook my head firmly, the memory of revealing my feelings for Krish to Reyansh crashing over me like a wave of regret. Now, he was determined to push me into a confession I felt unprepared for.

“Say it, it's just I LOVE YOU,” he urged, his playful grin urging me to leap. Just then, the air shifted, and Krish appeared, hands casually tucked into his pockets, a spark of jealousy igniting in his eyes as he caught the tail end of our conversation.

“Am I disturbing you guys? Seems like a marriage proposal is going on?” The tension thickened, and I felt a chill, my heart racing with concern for Reyansh’s safety.

“No, why would I propose to her? She knows my feelings for her very well,” Reyansh winked at me, a teasing glint in his eye. But Krish’s expression darkened further, a storm brewing behind those piercing eyes. After the preparations for the barbecue were finished, we settled back into our respective bean bags, the air alive with the promise of laughter and music.
