Korean makeup has become so popular nowadays and it's the complete opposite of western makeup. For some people, the trends can be quite confusing. So I decided that I'd make a list of the most popular Korean trends that are seen all over Asia for all of the people that are new to the Korean/Kpop scene. So let's start~~

1.Dewy Skin
Achieved by using an air cushion, dewy skin is famous for giving a more glowing complexion and making the skin look healthier and younger.
Air cushions are makeup sponges soaked in the product. They help make the application smoother and help give the skin a more even tone.

2.Straight Eyebrows
By filling in the eyebrow with no or very little curve, you achieve a straight eyebrow. Straight eyebrows give you a more innocent and childlike look.
Personally I look better with a slight curve in my eyebrows, so basically my natural eyebrows(#TeamNaturalBrow). But you can still make your eyebrows look straight with these few steps:
1. Cover your eyebrow from the arch down with glue and wait until it dries.
2. Apply concealer over the glued area and blend well.
3. Draw in the rest of the eyebrow straight with a eyebrow pencil.

Simple,right?

3.Puppy Liner
The puppy liner is basically like the cat eye except instead of flicking up, it goes downward along the eye, giving you a more innocent, girly look.
Best paired with a shimmery gold eyeshadow to make it look sweeter.

4.Aegyo Sal
The aegyo sal are the eye bags underneath your eyes, not to be mistaken with dark circles. Those tiny fat pockets under your eyes are really popular in Korea, because they make the eyes look rounder and bigger.
Not everybody has the aegyo sal but you can still achieve it with makeup.
1. Apply a light shimmery shade on the inner corner of your eyes right underneath the lash line.
2. Then using a matte brown , carve in the 'shadow' of the bag about a 1/2 centimeter underneath the lash line on the outer corner.

5.Orange Blush
Instead of using pink, try using a orange tinted blush. Simply apply it on the high of your cheekbones, going downwards to the center. This gives you a glowing effect.
The most popular orange tones in Korea are peach and coral.

6. Highlighter
To help achieve that dewy look, many people have been using highlighters and less bronzers. Applying on the places were the light naturally hits you, such as the forehead, nose bridge, cheekbones and chin, can help your skin look healthy and hydrated.

7.Gradient Lips
Last but no least come the gradient lips. This is where Koreas vast variety of lip tints comes in handy!
1. Apply a lip concealer all over your lips and blend.
2. Then apply a lip tint to the center of your lips and blend out, eventually making the color fade the closer you get to the edge of your lips.

That's it, cuties
