I was requested to do a review on the Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence. I had heard of the Time Revolution line before but I could never bring myself to really look into it because the price just really wasn't doing it for me. Nonetheless, I still bought it and I I'm happy to say that i don't regret it.
So without further ado, let's get started~
Before I jump into the pros and the cons of this product, I'd firstly like to explain what essence really is and what it does to your skin:
Essence is the first thing you should use after cleansing your face. It's highly concentrated and contains many active ingredients which penetrate deep through the skin's layers. This is the main reason why essence should be used first since it leads to better absorption for other skin care products, improving your skin care regimen overall. Essences are also usually multitasking and come in many different types for all skin types.
Pros
I have to admit that I really like this essence. The ingredients are really great because they help restore the skin's elasticity, revive your skin tone and texture, prevent skin aging and improve fine lines. It also has no fragrance which is just a personal preference of mine. What I also like is that I can already tell that I'm going to be able to keep this product for a while. I've been using the First Treatment Essence for about 2 months now and it looks like I've barely even used it. You really only need a couple of drops to cover your whole face and neck which is great in my opinion.
TLDR: This product is dope because it contains a lot of great ingredients that have amazing benefits for your skin and the essence itself will be quite long lasting.
Cons:
My only real complaint about this product is that the packaging has a matte sheen on it that goes away from the oil on your fingers. The packaging also isn't very travel friendly because I'm really paranoid about the fact that it could break or shatter. But this can easily be solved by just pouring the essence into a plastic travel sized bottle.
TLDR: Matte sheen goes away from oily fingers and the packaging isn't very travel friendly.
The Price
So of course, since this is a Missha product, it's going to be a bit pricey. I looked for the cheapest place to get it from online and it was actually amazon and not the official website. I'll quickly list a few places were you can get it from and the prices from expensive to cheap.
Misshaus.com: 49.00$
Yesstyle.com: 48.36$
Amazon.com: 28.98$
In regards to the price, I find it totally justified. Given the fact that the product is 150ml and that it will last you a really long time, 50$ don't seem that bad.
