"Hello...?"
"Hello... Helios."
The Sun whipped his head around, staring in awe at the supermassive black hole before him.
"Y-You're..." Sun trailed off, eyes in a trance as he gazed into white voids.
"Messier 87... but you can call me Mes."
Sun nodded, eye twitching slightly as he analyzed the black hole.
"I suppose I should be thanking you." Mes continued.
"What for?" Sun asked, tilting his head.
"I heard that one of your planets is harboring one of my own," Mes spoke.
"Oh! Oh, yes! He's in Neptune's care. He's one of the best planets a Star could ever ask for."
"I don't doubt it. You see, I've heard many things about that solar system of yours... mostly about that planet with life- Earth, was it?"
"Mhm, yes! Earth's life is very complex; he's been through a lot to get where he is now."
"...I see." Mes hummed.
Sun quirked a brow at Messier's despondent expression, "Have you talked to Sagittarius A* yet?"
"Ah, yes... it's not exactly the 'talk to and it'll change' type, so I don't have high expectations." Mes sighed before a musing glint crossed its gaze, "Although, maybe there is one way..."
Sun waited for it to continue, waving his hands in a gesturing manner, "One way to...?"
Mes blinked, shaking its head, "No, never mind..."
"Okay...?" Sun knitted his eyebrows in question.
"I'll visit again in a few months. If you need me sooner, just get Arcturus."
"Understood, ma'am, er- or sir!" Sun gave a two-finger salute.
"Just call me Mes," Messier 87 turned away, about to back out until it remembered something. It turned toward the Sun, "One more thing... I recommend keeping an eye on Earth. You never know what might happen, especially to a planet harboring life on its surface."
Sun eyed the supermassive black hole, mouth agape, "Huh...?"
"From asteroids to global warming to collisions with other Celestial bodies... and even suicide. Planets with life are rare for a reason."
"Are you implying that there are more planets that have life...?" Sun inquired.
"Were." Mes uttered as it turned away, "Anyway, I should be going now. I'll be seeing you again sometime soon, Helios."
Sun nodded, "Goodbye for now, Mes!"
...
"How dare that black hole... who does it think it is to tell me off!?"
Using the electricity ignited from within, Sagittarius clasped its hands together, using every last bit of its power.
Its scowl turned into a demented smile, a breathless and delirious laugh escaping it, "HaHAhahAH... oh, I'll show them... I'll give them a reason to bow down to only me."
Two clumps of crystals were shot out into the void of space, flying at the speed of light toward a specific destination.
"And there'll be no one to stand in my way..."
