Odyssey of Birds

𝓗𝓲𝓭𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓕𝓲𝓰𝓾𝓻𝓮𝓼

Josephine is carrying Griselda back to the inner city of Aguadulce. She hurries as she swiftly pushes past people who are blocking her way. She's determined to get Griselda help to. Josephine continues to shove people out of the way as she gets closer to an old fashioned, official building.

As she gets closer to the building, Josephine sees another woman coming out of the building. She calls for her as the woman goes down the steps.

"Esmeralda!"

The woman looks at Josephine. Her hair is a strawberry blonde orange color. She wears a dark blue blazer with a white shirt underneath it. Her skirt is also dark blue and reaches up to her lower thighs. Her black heels click as she walks. She looks at Josephine with her emerald green eyes as they're layered in circular glasses. The black bow on the back of her hair bounces a bit as she moves. The sun hits her pale skin and shines.

"Josephine! What happened?!"

"She activated her ability for the first time out of a fit of anger! Help me so she can recover!"

Both Esmeralda and Josephine get Griselda inside the building. The doors slammed shut as their footsteps become fainter by the second.

Griselda is in a dorm as she's unconscious on the bed. The window is open, letting a small breeze go inside. Sunlight hits her skin as she's unconscious. The bed is a twin size and a small bedside table is on her left where a small, a Spanish lamp placed. There is also a desk and a fairly sized closet on the wall. The wall is a faint cream color with small photos frames of flowers. There is a small television in front of the bedroom on a firm and sturdy self.

Griselda slowly wakes up. Her baby blue eyes open up to see the new location where's she in. Her eyes adjust to the sunlight in the room from the window. She looks around, seeing the cozy and warm dorm that she's in. It's much more pleasant than being in a cell and having an old and worn blanket as her only needs.

She look to her left and sees a chair with new clothes and a note on top. She decides to take a closer look as she stands up and goes to it.

While picking up the note, she sees a newspaper for her to read later. The note is fancy handwriting and addresses her formally. This gives Griselda a realization that it might've not been Josephine who wrote the note but someone else. Someone more important, elegant and commanding.

"Querida Griselda, yo quiero dar la bienvenida a nuestra agencia. Ojalá que recuperes rápido para que podamos hablar de una nueva oportunidad para ti."

Griselda looks surprised as she's done reading the note. Her mind is working to understand what this means to her and her future. She looks at the back of the note and sees more handwriting. This time, it's from Josephine.

"Hi Chimborazo! You passed out after you activated your ability! Don't worry, a few of us in world have abilities so this isn't new! Each ability differs from person to person and considering that you were on fire and had ice all over your body, you are a perfect candidate to join us, if you want to. I'll visit you when I'm done with paperwork!"

Griselda is flabbergasted at both responses. She never thought that she would be capable of having an ability at all. She over her body to see if any remnants of her ability is still on her skin. There's none but considering that she was unconscious for a period of time, she starts to believe Josephine's words.
