Louis' POV
It was about 6, and the girls were coming over at 7. "What movies do you think we should watch? Action? Drama? Comedy?" I asked the other guys. "Why don't you just let the girls decide when they get here," Harry suggested. "Yeah, you're probably right," I said as I left the movie closet and went to go sit back on the couch. "Do we have snacks?" I asked Niall, who was standing in the kitchen. "When do we not?" he said back to me. I felt dumb. I was freaking out about a simple movie night.
But it wasn't the movie night I was really freaking out about, it was Alice. I wanted her to like me. She's so different from all the other girls. She's vague, and mysterious. But at the same time, she seemed so willing to open herself up to me. The way she left that note in my jacket was genius. And her determination was incomparable. She knew what she wanted and how to get there. I've never met someone who had everything pretty much figured out. She was funny too, and I love a girl with a good sense of humor. Her personality was just amazing. She was so cool. Not to mention her looks, though. She was beautiful. With long, deep auburn hair, and complex green eyes, and her plump pink lips. Plus her figure was perfect. She was quite small, which made her look fragile, but she was much stronger than she appeared. She was perfect. I really think I like Alice. A lot.
Just then, my phone went off.
Kat and I are on the way. See you soon.
xx Alice xx
I couldn't help but smile when I read the text. Just the thought of seeing Alice made me happy. "What's making you smile like that, mate?" Zayn asked. "Wait a minute, was that from Alice? It's Alice! You like her don't you!" Zayn said with a smug grin on his face. Was it really that easy to figure out? "Zayn, she just said that her and Kat were on their way," I told him. "Hey, whatever you say man," He said with his hands up in defense, but still with that smug grin plastered on his face.
Then the doorbell rang. I panicked for a second. Then I just thought, be cool Louis, be cool. I took a deep breath and started walking towards the door. But Harry got there first.
"Hey you guys! So great to see you again!" Kat said. Then they both hugged Harry. All the boys came up and hugged the girls one by one until I was the only one standing here. "Well what are you waiting for? Don't just leave me hangin'!" Alice joked, with arms wide open. I came and hugged them both. I didn't want to let go of Alice.
"Okay so, I know this is your guys' place, but Kat and I are taking over movie night. I handle the snacks, and she picks out the movies with input from you all," Alice said. "Well, then! The movies are over in the movie closet to the right of the tv. The snacks are stored all around the kitchen," I told them. "Fan out," Alice said to Kat, as if they were spies in search of something out of a movie. They're friendship was so cute.
Minutes later, Kat and Alice emerged from the kitchen and movie closet at the same time. They were so in sync. "Okay, so for snacks, I have popcorn, chips, and pizza. For candy, I have chocolates, red vines, and some other sour and sweet candies," Alice said. "For movies, I picked 1 horrible movie. I know what you're thinking, why would you pick a bad movie? Well, we can all talk over the bad movie and make fun of it. It's a lot more fun than it sounds, it's kind of a tradition. Then, I have one horror flick, and then a romantic comedy. Sound alright?" Kat said. Wow. They were really into movie night. I looked at the other boys. "Sounds great!" I said. "How did you prepare all those snacks so fast?" Niall asked Alice. "I waitress part time," she laughed and told him. "You waitress? That's so cool! Where?" He continued to press her. "It's this little cafe near the campus. A lot of the students go there, but it's not part of the school or anything," she told him. "Wow," he said. Niall sure does love his food. "I didn't know you were a waitress," I said to Alice. "There's a lot of things you don't know about me," she said mysteriously. "Now lets get movie night started!" Kat said.
