The Doctor hoisted himself to his feet and instantly attempted to raise the Tardis' shields.
"There's no point in trying that, old man." The voice mocked the Scotsman. A fist of vexation penetrated the console followed by The Doctor hesitantly narrowing his eyes and scanning the console room.
"Sarah!" Alongside the bookshelf, Sarah-Jane's body laid unconscious; coated in a thick sheet of debris. The Doctor scuttled across the control room, flapping his trench coat as he did so.
"Sarah, wake up. Sarah!" He placed his hand directly on her cheek and began a rhythm of tapping to try and summon Sarah-Jane from her slumber. A sudden cough released itself from Sarah's throat, causing her body to violently thrust upwards. The Doctor placed his aged palm on the back of her neck and elevated Sarah to her feet. Leaving no time for conversing, the Doctor rushed across the room; kicking wreckage of his broken ship aside. A thick, green mist was clearly visible through the cracked Tardis window, which stopped the Scotsman within his tracks. He was excited. The possibilities behind a piece of wood simply intrigued the man.

Peering out into the unknown, The Doctor began to scrutinise his surroundings. A fulmination of smoke exploded from the blue stabilisers forcing the ancient duo out of the box. A clap of thunder echoed the atmosphere, as Sarah-Jane and the Doctor evacuated the Tardis. The Doctor narrowed his eyes once more, placing his hand behind him to protect Sarah from the unknown threats.
"Where are we?" Sarah promptly questioned.
"Somewhere new." A huge grin beamed across his face. Without any warning, a screech followed by a short wheeze saw the Tardis begin to dematerialise.
"No!" The Doctor sprinted directly towards the blue box, sweeping Sarah aside. He began to pound on the doors of the Tardis, demanding it to open. A rapid bolt of lightning shot out of the sky and plummeted towards the dematerialising spaceship.
"Doctor, move!" Sarah's warning wasn't enough, the Scotsman was propelled ten meters back by the electric charge from the sky.
"Doctor!" Sarah shrieked. The infirm body of the Doctor was spread across the grass, uncontrollably jittering, as bursts of electricity pulsed through his body. The reoccurring voice of the sky spoke once more.
"You're going to die here, Doctor, get ready."
