"Well, well, well Doctor. The time has come for you to face your darkest demons. The whole of time and space has kept us divided, but now it's time for you to meet the ring leader of the universe. Let's play a game Doctor; I've already started, can you tell? Good luck my friend, ha, you'll need it!" The muffled, masculine voice cut off, rendering the pair speechless. The Doctor thought for a second, before diving into the Tardis with a dramatic flap of his coat behind him. A gust of dust swamped Sarah-Jane's face, as she pelted into the Tardis after her beloved Doctor.
"If I can trace the signal from your phone to the caller, I can get the Tard-" Sarah instantly cut him off.
"Yes, I know what you're going to do, the whole 'I'll lock on to his location and we can go fight bad guys like the good old days'." He scanned Sarah's sarcastic whit, before taking out a hammer from under the console and aiming it in alignment with the phone.
"Doct-" Sarah-Jane attempted to stop him, but it was too late for her phone.
"I needed the chip from inside, what else could I have done?" He exclaimed.
"Doctor, there was a slot in the side you could have just..." Sarah stood proudly in the Tardis doorway, one hand on her hip and the other throwing gestures around the console room. The Doctor made slight eye contact with her before launching the phone over his shoulder and dropping to his knees. With the chip in his mouth, the Doctor began rummaging beneath one of the panels.
"Ah ha, got it!" He pounced up from the ground and began to pace around the console, attempting to locate a plug of some kind. Sarah waltzed across the room and pointed her finger at a plug adjacent to the zig-zag plotter.
"This it?" She called.
"Lucky hunch." The Doctor brushed Sarah-Jane away by flapping his fingers towards her direction.
A ferocious tremble shook the Tardis, as soon as the Scotsman placed the cable into the plug. Sarah flew backwards against the door, shutting it as she did so. The Doctor ended up making a rebound fall onto to the chalkboard he previously snapped. Instantly, a high pitched siren screeched out of the console and bounced from wall to wall of the room. Sarah-Jane cupped her ears and curled up in the corner of the door frame. The Doctor attempted to regain control of the vessel but he wasn't the one in control anymore. "Someone's took the shields down and were crashing! As soon as we hit the ground... Well, you get the picture." One final earthshaking thud rocked the ship, as the Tardis slammed into the ground. Rubble and ash covered The Doctor and Sarah-Jane. A recurring voice bellowed it's way through the damaged ship.
"Welcome Doctor, it's time."
